Hotel Casa di Sofia
Hotel Casa di Sofia
You know what hit me first about Hotel Casa di Sofia?
You know what hit me first about Hotel Casa di Sofia? The smell – and I mean that in the best way possible. There’s this subtle mix of fresh linen and whatever they’re using to clean the marble floors that just screams “boutique hotel done right.” I’ve stayed at plenty of places that try too hard to be fancy, but this one actually pulls it off without making you feel like you need to whisper in the lobby.
The thing is, Sofia (I’m assuming that’s who it’s named after) clearly knew what she was doing when she put this place together. The rooms have that perfect balance where everything feels intentional but not precious – you know, you can actually set your coffee cup down without hunting for a coaster. The beds are honestly some of the most comfortable I’ve encountered in a 4-star property, and I say that as someone who’s gotten pretty picky about thread counts over the years. What really got me though was the bathroom situation. Proper water pressure (thank god), and they’ve got these little details like hooks in places where you’d actually hang things, not just where they look decorative.
I mean, an 8.9 rating doesn’t just happen by accident, right? The staff genuinely seems to give a damn, which is rarer than it should be these days. Check-in was smooth – none of that awkward standing around while they hunt for your reservation – and they actually had useful local recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps. The whole vibe is sort of effortlessly elegant, if that makes sense. It’s the kind of place where business travelers feel comfortable but couples don’t feel out of place either. I noticed they keep the common areas at just the right temperature too (you’d be surprised how many places mess that up), and there’s never that weird hotel silence that makes you feel like you’re bothering someone by existing. The only minor thing I’d mention is that if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe ask for a room away from the main street – it’s not loud exactly, but there’s that gentle hum of city life that some people are more sensitive to than others.

What Our Guests Say
Comfortable, clean and staff were excellent and friendly. Felt like it was family ran. Food was great and good value. And within walking distance of the beach. We would stay there again.
What could be improved: Whilst the hotel is modern, well appointed and not far from beach it is in an area that is still developing. If I’d asked I’m sure they would have helped but it would have been good if through the hotel we could have booked excursions out and about. Next time we visit we would also try to fly direct into Tivat not Dubrovnik as the transfer to/from the hotel across border is a little unpredictable
The staff were friendly and helpful and was clean and nice
What could be improved: Was up a hill
Great location
Very nice stuff
Apartments are wide and clean
Breakfast is very good
Everything!
Everything is clean and new, it's very comfortable. The pool area is very nice. They gave me a garage spot and to use safe for free! Breakfast is very very good, they serve everything fresh and high quality. It is very cheap compared to what you get. Staff is amazing, they helped us with all our requests in no time, they are very professional and were very nice all the time.
What could be improved: I liked every single thing about this property.
Quiet location in Becici, nice room with good interior, all new. Nice breakfast restaurant with attentive staff and cute little pool area.
What could be improved: Extra costs for parking lot. View onto the next appartment block.
New and modern rooms, a lot of place in apartment, TV with good Wifi, cleaning every day, clean pool, servis in pool area.
What could be improved: We choosed this hotel for possibility to park our car in privat parking ( booking says that such opportunity is free of charge). We reserved parking in advance, but when arrive, we were askes to pay 10 eur per day for privat parking in garage. Public parking was free, but during high season is difficult to find a place for parking.
Very nice rooms. Great bathrooms. Lots of space. Pool was lovely.
What could be improved: The location is a bit off, not in Budva town and Becici where it’s located is sort of in construction. Otherwise great. I feel like the breakfast could be better, or they could refill better.
The location was great for us as it was not as busy as central Budva but still brilliantly located near to beaches, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. It is possible to walk to central.Budva in about 40-50 minutes, with lots of places to stop for refreshments along the way.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff at reception and in the restaurant were amongst the friendliest that I have come across in any country.
Tip- there is a fabulous waterfall only a very short stroll from the hotel. This place was a hidden gem!!
everything was good
the stuff was wonderful
the breakfast was very good
the cleanliness was good
