Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked into Hotel EDEN – you know how four-star places can be hit or miss – but this one really surprised me. The lobby has this warm, understated elegance that feels genuine rather than trying too hard, and the staff actually seemed happy to see guests arrive (which, let’s be real, isn’t always the case). What struck me immediately was how quiet everything felt despite being in what seemed like a busy area – they’ve clearly put thought into soundproofing because I barely heard any street noise once I got to my room.

The rooms themselves are where this place really shines. I mean, you can tell someone actually stayed in these spaces before deciding on the layout because everything just makes sense. The lighting is spot-on – not those harsh overhead fluorescents that make you look dead, but actual reading lights where you need them and ambient lighting that creates a nice atmosphere in the evenings. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious, and honestly, the water pressure was fantastic (I know that sounds boring, but after a long day of exploring, it matters). What I really appreciated was the attention to small details – like having enough outlets near the bed, blackout curtains that actually block light, and a mini-fridge that doesn’t sound like a jet engine all night.

The breakfast situation deserves a mention too. It’s not some massive buffet with everything under the sun, but what they do have is really well-executed. Fresh pastries, properly brewed coffee, and they seem to source ingredients locally which gives everything a more authentic taste. The dining area gets good morning light, and there’s usually a nice buzz of conversation without being overwhelming. I’d definitely stay here again – the 9.4 rating isn’t just inflated reviews, it actually reflects the experience. Sure, it’s not the flashiest place you’ll ever stay, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want. The service feels personal without being intrusive, the rooms are comfortable in all the ways that matter, and you get the sense that they’re running a hotel for people who actually travel rather than just trying to check boxes for corporate standards.

The concierge service in Budva can arrange exclusive boat tours, secure reservations at seaside restaurants, and organize visits to nearby Sveti Stefan and Kotor Bay.

    Everyone is very friendly. It was cozy, clean room, comfortable beds, very good breakfast. You can go to restaurant and eat dinner too.

    The cleanliness was excellent—sheets, bathrobes, and towels were spotless! Generous and tasty breakfast. The staff very polite and helpful. Quiet neighborhood, even though the hotel has a good acoustic insulation; overall great location, not more than 15' walk from the beach and the Old Town. Great experience!

    We appreciated the comfort, the peace and quiet, and the cleanliness. However, and above all, we were positively surprised by the professionalism of the lady who handled our check-out. Faced with our urgency and stress to remove our car from the garage early in the morning – as it was blocked by two others – she immediately did everything she could to help us and resolve the issue, always with a smile, professionalism, and a kind word. Unfortunately, I don’t know her name, but I would like to express my admiration and gratitude to her and to the Hotel owners, as she is clearly a great asset and a true example of good customer service.

    What could be improved: The breakfast had limited options and the items were not labelled – apart from the obvious ones, we had no idea what the rest of the food was. Additionally, two cars were parked behind ours in the Hotel's garage, blocking us from leaving. We were caught off guard by this disorganisation from the Hotel when we were trying to check out (they have security cameras and must know).

    After a bad night's sleep in Bar, we were looking for a little more up market hotel at a reasonable price, and we certainly found it in the Hotel Eden.

    A very modern, well-appointed hotel. A large room with a king-sized bed and a wrap around balcony.

    Bathroom with a choice of a waterfall shower or a hand held shower, plenty of hot water and quality towels.

    Breakfast was a bountifu European stylel buffet, Coffee or Tea served.

    The staff from the front desk to the restaurant were all very helpful and polite.

    The hotel is an easy stroll (12-15) in one direction to the beach and another 10 minutes onto the old city. Ten minutes the other way to a self-service laundromat.

    All in all, we ticked every box.

    Our stay at this hotel left us with the warmest impressions! We booked a room for the night before our wedding to prepare for the big day, and everything was organized perfectly. The room was spacious, bright, and beautifully decorated with flowers, petals, and other romantic details. At our request, we were given a sunny room, which made the atmosphere even cozier. Breakfasts were excellent – delicious, varied, and accompanied by impeccable service. The staff was attentive and friendly. We had a wonderful experience and would gladly return again!

    Breakfast is so poor, shameless! Facilities zero. Room are to small even they give me bigger size of room. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to choose the right hotel and I grab this one! The worst experience for me!
