Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Hotel Hermes Budva? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard – and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it work. I mean, sure, it’s technically a 3-star property, but there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole setup that had me settling in way faster than I expected. The lobby has this lived-in feel, not sterile like some of the bigger chains, and the staff actually seemed to remember my name by day two (which, let’s be real, doesn’t happen everywhere).
What really won me over was how the place sits in Budva – you’re close enough to hear the buzz from the old town when things get lively in the evenings, but far enough back that you can actually sleep without earplugs. The walk to the main beach strip takes maybe eight minutes if you’re moving at a decent pace, though I found myself taking longer because you pass these little bakeries that smell incredible in the morning. The rooms themselves are… well, they’re exactly what you’d expect, but in a good way. Clean sheets, decent shower pressure, and – this matters more than people think – blackout curtains that actually block the light. I’ve stayed in “luxury” places where the curtains were basically decorative, so trust me on this one.
Here’s the thing about Hotel Hermes that the rating of 8.6 really captures – it delivers on what it promises without any weird surprises. The Wi-Fi works throughout the building (tested it extensively while avoiding the midday heat), there’s always hot water, and when I needed an extra towel at 10 PM, someone brought it up within fifteen minutes. Nothing groundbreaking, but you’d be surprised how many places mess up these basics. The breakfast isn’t going to change your life, but there’s proper coffee and fresh bread, plus they do this local cheese that’s actually worth getting up for. During peak summer the place fills up with families, which means it gets a bit chaotic around the pool area by mid-morning, but that’s Budva in July – everywhere’s packed. If you’re looking for something quieter, early morning or late afternoon are your golden hours. I spent most evenings on my little balcony with a beer from the corner shop, watching people navigate the narrow streets below, and honestly? That simple routine became the highlight of my whole trip.

Excellent location, spacious apartment, modern and comfortable, good facilities, nice terrace, spacious bathroom, everything in line with the pics on Booking,
What could be improved: Garage entrance is very steep and narrow and the open/ close system should be differently solved to provide more safety.Ursula from Taiwan – 19 December 2024 (9/10)
Very convenient location, only 5 Min to Budva Center and the beachfront by foot. Friendly and helpful staff, cosy rooms / apartment, one feels home here. Breakfast is excellent European style. The hotel has a carpark, location is quiet with view over the city.

I found Hermes Hotel the best option for our short trip in Budva. It was cozy, comfortable place as well as clean and so near to the old city of Budva, it was secure and the breakfast was over my expectancies. The staff was so friendly and we enjoyed so much our stay at the hotel.

Alex from Russia – 13 September 2024 (9/10)
Very spacious and comfortable apartment. It might not be stated in the description, but our room was equipped with a washing machine which was a great bonus. Balcony is huge and very well-covered from the sun, so you can stay there even at noon. Plenty of shops and nice coffee spots just around the corner (keep in mind everything is closed on Sundays though). Two bathrooms are great when there's more than two people in the apartment. Very well equipped and covers all your needs.
