You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Hotel Kadmo by Aycon – honestly, the name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, and I’d never heard of it before booking. But man, was I pleasantly surprised. The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this really thoughtful design that feels modern without being cold, if that makes sense. It’s got this warm lighting that actually makes you look good in selfies (trust me, I tested this extensively), and the staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests arrive. I mean, you can usually tell when someone’s faking the enthusiasm, but these folks were the real deal.

What really got me was how they’ve nailed all those little details that most places completely overlook. The room keycard worked every single time – and look, I know that sounds ridiculous to praise, but you’d be amazed how many four-star places can’t get that right. The shower pressure was absolutely perfect, none of that sad trickle you sometimes get, and they’d actually thought about where you’d want to plug in your phone (right next to the bed, genius). The housekeeping team clearly takes pride in their work too – I left my stuff scattered around one morning and came back to find everything tidied but nothing moved from where I’d actually want it. That’s skill right there.

Here’s the thing that really sets this place apart though – they’ve managed to create that boutique hotel vibe without the boutique hotel attitude. The concierge actually knew the neighborhood inside and out, not just the tourist trap recommendations everyone gives. When I mentioned I wanted good coffee, he didn’t send me to some overpriced hotel café but pointed me toward this local spot that honestly made some of the best espresso I’ve had outside of Italy. The whole property just feels like someone who actually travels designed it for other people who actually travel. Even during what seemed like a busy period, the elevators came quickly, the restaurant wasn’t overwhelmed, and you never felt like you were fighting crowds just to exist in the space. That 9 rating it’s got? Yeah, I get it now. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in the city, but it absolutely nails being the kind of place you’d want to come back to – and honestly, I’m already looking at dates for my next trip.

  Good hotel. Good room. Good location, close to shops, beach, bus station. Quiet place. Needs a little cosmetic repair, but these are minor things. Nothing prevented me from enjoying my vacation. I liked everything. I didn't have time to swim in the pool, I'll have to try it next time. Thank you!

  Breakfast was great, the room was clean and cozy. The staff was polite and eager to help. Really loved the location and overall facilities.
  
  What could be improved: We didn't like that the pool area didn't have enough sun beds for this number of residents. Only 4 sunbeds were available, so it was impossible to rest there

  A huge, well-equipped room with a large balcony (5th floor) and a view of the city and a bit of the sea. There is parking at the hotel and in this congested city it is a big advantage. good breakfast A large and luxurious shower

  The size of the room. Bathroom.
  
  What could be improved: It was stated that there is
  a kettle in the room. But there was no kettle and getting it turned out to be a problem, since, according to the workers, they are constantly "fighting" for a kettle for guests.
  "So few kettles and so many guests".
  Is it really possible that a 4-star hotel that specifies that it provides a kettle in the room can’t afford to buy some kettles? … and avoid a constant "fight" over which customer gets the kettle and avoid the ridiculous situation.

  Beautiful hotel in a quiet area. Room size was great and staff very friendly. The pool area, while not big, was very nice and kept spotlessly clean, as was the hotel in general.I enjoyed the two nights I had there.
  Parking on site is a bonus.
