But here’s the thing that hit me right away: this place actually gets the details right in ways that matter. The lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling that’s sophisticated without trying too hard, and the staff genuinely seemed to know what they were doing instead of just going through the motions. I mean, the guy at check-in remembered my name without looking at his screen three times, which sounds small but really isn’t.

What really won me over was how they handle the little stuff that can make or break a stay. The rooms are well thought out – like, someone actually considered where you’d want to plug in your phone and put your coffee cup in the morning.
