I mean, sure, it’s a 4-star property so you’d expect nice touches, but honestly, the way they’ve balanced sophistication with genuine comfort is pretty impressive.

The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully appointed without being fussy. The beds are properly comfortable (not just Instagram-pretty), and I actually appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with throw pillows you have to move every night. What really got me was the attention to practical details – decent outlets near the bed, blackout curtains that actually block light, and bathroom lighting that doesn’t make you look like a zombie at 6 AM. The housekeeping staff clearly takes pride in their work too; everything felt genuinely clean, not just surface-level tidy. One small thing that bugged me was the air conditioning could be a bit temperamental, but honestly, that’s pretty minor in the grand scheme of things.

The service here has this easy professionalism that feels refreshingly unstudied. The front desk folks seem to actually know their neighborhood – not just the obvious tourist spots, but where to grab a proper coffee in the morning or which streets to avoid during rush hour. Check-in was smooth without being overly scripted, and they handled a room preference request without making it feel like I was asking for the moon. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period, but the common areas never felt chaotic or understaffed. The 8.7 rating makes complete sense when you experience how consistently well everything runs. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the management actually cares about the guest experience beyond just hitting corporate metrics – there’s a genuine warmth that seeps into every interaction, from the morning greeting to the evening turndown service.

  We broke a glass bottle in room at 10pm, accidentally. Nobody would come to clean it up for us. Eventually persuaded guy on reception but he did a poor job. Must be a housekeeper somewhere
