You know what caught me off guard about Hotel Odissey Jaz? The name makes it sound way fancier than it actually is – and I mean that in the best possible way. This is one of those solid 3-star places that just gets everything right without trying to be something it’s not. Walking into the lobby, you’re not hit with marble and chandeliers, but there’s this clean, welcoming vibe that immediately puts you at ease. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day, which honestly doesn’t happen much anymore.

I’ll be straight with you – the rooms aren’t huge, but they’re thoughtfully laid out in that European way where every inch counts. The beds are surprisingly comfortable (and I’m picky about mattresses), and the AC actually works properly, which is more than I can say for some allegedly higher-end places I’ve stayed. What really impressed me was the attention to small details – thick towels that don’t feel like sandpaper, decent water pressure, and blackout curtains that actually block light if you’re trying to sleep in. The Wi-Fi reaches every corner of the building too, which became important when I needed to work from the room one morning. There’s this great little courtyard area that most guests seem to miss – perfect for morning coffee if you grab a cup from the front desk.

The location is actually pretty smart. You’re not right in the thick of tourist chaos, but you’re close enough that a quick walk gets you where you need to be. I noticed a lot of business travelers staying here, which usually means a place has figured out the basics – reliable service, decent breakfast, quiet rooms. Speaking of breakfast, it’s nothing fancy but they do fresh pastries and strong coffee, plus they keep it stocked until a reasonable hour. The whole place runs smoothly without any fuss or drama, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want. That 8.7 rating? Yeah, it makes sense. Hotel Odissey Jaz doesn’t try to wow you with flashy amenities, but it delivers consistently on the stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling.

  The hotel staff exhibited exceptional professionalism. Initially, we had reservations at another hotel, which left us disappointed. However, upon booking at Hotel Odyssey, we were thoroughly impressed. The service was exemplary, with daily fresh towels and an amiable, ever-helpful staff. Its proximity to Jaz Beach, Ploche Beach, and Budva was incredibly convenient. The cleanliness and overall ambiance gave the impression of a hotel with a higher star rating. Breakfast fantastic👍

  We really left very satisfied from Hotel Odissey during our stay. The rooms were clean, facilities were well maintained and the staff had a positive and helpful attitude. Especially, Drazen helped us a lot with everything we needed. If you are looking for a place to stay in Budva, I recommend Hotel Odissey. The location is perfect, close to popular beaches, center of Budva.

  Delicious and plentiful breakfasts, excellent selection. Great and helpful staff at the hotel. Clean, comfortable and quiet. A great base for trips to the Bay of Kotor. Next to it, there is a large supermarket where you can buy everything and grill the meat you buy for free. Very close to Jaz beach – 10 minutes on foot. Free parking by the beach. We definitely recommend it, you won't regret it. 🙂

  It was certainly a nice stay! The staff was very polite and helped us to book the sunbeds on the Jaz beach.

  Everything was good. Room was clean. Breakfast was tasty. Hotel staff is great (frendly guys, helped with info and gave us kettle also 🙂 ). Jaz beach is 20 minutes by walk. Beautiful view on mountain and some hills around.
