The Room Experience

My room was clean and functional — nothing fancy, but it had everything I actually needed. The air conditioning worked well (crucial during those hot Montenegrin summers), and the bathroom was recently updated. What really sold me was the balcony view — waking up to see Jaz Beach stretching out below was pretty special. The beds are comfortable enough, though the pillows could be a bit firmer if I’m being picky. Storage space is adequate, and there’s a small fridge that comes in handy for keeping drinks cold.

The continental breakfast is actually quite decent for a three-star place. Fresh bread, local cheeses, some cold cuts, and surprisingly good coffee — it’s not elaborate, but it’ll fuel you up for a day of beach time or exploring Budva.   Lokacija je bila izjemna, izbira sobe zelo dobra. Morje super. Osebje prijazno.
  
  What could be improved: Zajtrk je pa bil katastrofa, dan na dan eno in isto, morda bi večkrat menjavali različne salame, različno zelenjavo, sadja sploh ni bilo, namazi le trije, vse dni letovanja. Nobene iznajdljivosti pri zajtrku. Pa tudi wi fi v sobi je deloval le prvi in zadnji dan, čeprav sem povedala na recepciji. Deloval je le na balkonu.

  Located right on the beach. Very friendly, accommodating staff. Pretty view from balcony (king room with sea view). Comfortable bed.
  
  What could be improved: The breakfast offers an abundance of food, but no juices, just room temperature diluted orange drink. The lobby and breakfast area don’t have a/c, making it hot and stuffy for eating. Jaz beach is packed with people in July and August. Sun chairs take up space from the shoreline all the way to the boardwalk, with no space for children to build sandcastles. The hotel is located on the rocky side of Jaz beach; you have to walk 5 minutes to get to a sandy area. Lots of trash on the boardwalk. Lots of people smoking and drinking all day on the beach. If you’re looking for a quiet family beach, go somewhere else.

  Jako lijep hotel, plaža se nalazi na dva koraka od hotela sto je savršeno za ljude koji su tu dosli da se odmore. Doručak na švedskom stolu ima širok izbor hrane i sama hrana je veoma ukusna. Sve u svemu tople preporuke i veliki pozdrav za osoblje hotela Palma Jaz!

  This is a new hotel, with good location, big rooms and good food. only 20 m to the beach.
  
  What could be improved: There are 4 hotels in 100 m which is reflect mainly to the tranquility. Sometimes in the room is a little bit noisy due to the people from outside.

  What could be improved: Posto je dozvoljeno ostavljanje peškira preko noći na hotelskim lezaljkama koje su besplatne, ljudi zauzmu prvi red i tako rezervišu za narednih 10 dana! Nemate priliku nikada da dobijete mesto do mora jer su njihovi prskiri i rekviziti non-stop tu. Onda se rezervišu i mesta pozadi jer se ljudi plaše da će ostati i bez njih. Tako da je cela plaza rezervisana peškirima preko dana i noći.
  Oni su u prednosti da uživaju sve vreme pored vode, samo ne znam na osnovu čega. Mi smo išli na druge plaže i plaćali ležaljke u prvom redu 15 ili 20e.
  Kad se ne bi ostavljali peskiri ( u nekim mestima u Hrvatskoj (Novi Vinodolski) je to kaznjivo, a u Grckoj zabranjeno), svako bi DOBIO PRILIKU da sa novim danom zauzme mesto koje voli. Pa sad…nekad uspes , nekad ne…

  What could be improved: I booked the room through Booking.com and drove to the place all day with all that traffic and 20 minutes before I arrived their staff called me on my cell giving orders to cancel the reservation. The reason was because they didn’t have the room anymore they “forgot “ to remove it from Booking.com. It was upsetting for my family this last minute cancellation. We arrived I had the reservation number and they gave us the room key, I wouldn’t have left anyway!
