Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Hotel Pima Budva, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside. It’s got that typical Adriatic coast hotel vibe, you know? But once you step inside, there’s something different going on here. The lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling that immediately puts you at ease, and the staff actually remembers your name by day two (which, let’s face it, doesn’t happen everywhere).
What really sold me on this place was the attention to detail that you only notice after staying a few nights. The rooms are genuinely comfortable – not just Instagram pretty, but actually designed for people who plan to spend time in them. The beds are firm enough that you won’t wake up with a backache, and honestly, the shower pressure is better than what I have at home. I stayed during late June when Budva gets pretty hectic with summer crowds, but the hotel manages to maintain this calm bubble. You can hear the energy of the old town in the distance, but it’s not keeping you awake at night. The air conditioning actually works (trust me, this matters in a Montenegrin summer), and there are enough outlets for all your devices without having to unplug the bedside lamp.
Here’s what I really appreciated – the hotel sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the main strip that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 3 AM. You can walk to the old town walls in about eight minutes, maybe ten if you stop for coffee along the way. The nearest beach is practically next door, and it’s one of the quieter stretches too. I mean, you’ll still get crowds during peak hours, but early morning or late afternoon? It’s perfect. The hotel staff knows all the good local spots – not just the touristy restaurants, but places where locals actually eat. They pointed me toward this little konoba tucked away behind the marina that I never would have found otherwise. Parking can be a bit tricky in that area generally, but they’ve got it sorted, which is honestly a huge relief when you’re dealing with Budva’s summer traffic. The breakfast is solid too – nothing fancy, but fresh local ingredients and they make a proper strong coffee. After staying at places that serve watery hotel coffee, you start to appreciate these things. With a 9.2 rating, I expected it to be good, but sometimes highly rated places try too hard. Hotel Pima just gets the basics right and adds thoughtful touches without making a big show of it.
The concierge service in Budva can arrange exclusive boat tours, secure reservations at seaside restaurants, and organize visits to nearby Sveti Stefan and Kotor Bay.

Jaksa and Ogi took very good care of us from the beginning to the end of our stay. Breakfast was sufficient, the room was very spacious and comfortable. You can walk to the city in 10 minutes. There is also free parking in the underground garage. If we come to Budva again, we will definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel, with lots of parking, about a 10min walk to the old town. The rooms were very comfortable / spacious, amazing shower.
The breakfast was varied and the dining area was beautifully decorated.
We didn’t use the pool as it was too cold, the area looked very cute.
Fabulous staff, especially Ogi, he couldn’t do enough for everyone. I don’t know how the man does all he does!!

As we arrived in the hotel, we were assisted from the taxi by a man we later knew as Oggy–the hotel manager. What an exceptional human being–kind, generous and very caring. He invited us to sit down in the reception to learn about us–as we disclosed that we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, he gave us a bottle of the best Montenegrin white wine and upgraded us to the best room in the hotel. What a treat!
But others alike were extremely caring and attentive, including Simone, the hotel co-owner–a true Servant Leader, Alex at the reception, Milo at the breakfast area, which was delicious and abundant buffet.
What could be improved: Everything was exceptional–so no dislike to report. Perhaps our short 4 night stay was way to short.Mohammad from Israel – 25 April 2025 (10/10)
I had a lovely stay at Pima Budva. The location is perfect – very close to the heart of the Old Town, close to everything. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a great place if you want to experience the charm of Budva while enjoying comfort and hospitality. Highly recommended!
What could be improved: Nothing, I LOVED IT!!!!Pauline from Singapore – 23 April 2025 (10/10)
Breakfast spread and coffee options were super.
Balcony was a haven to relax.
staff Ognjen is a gem; Always ready to serve & help with friendliness. Offered good dining recommendations & attentive to details to get cutlery when delivery doesn’t include.
What could be improved: Seems like not a culture in Balkans to have tissues; would be nice to have in the room as we use tissue daily.Murat from Turkey – 23 April 2025 (10/10)
Great location. You can walk to the old city and restaurants. The hotel clerk Ogi and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. After a long journey, we arrived at the hotel and they offered us refreshments during check-in. The closed and free parking lot under the hotel is one of the best things. The rooms and beds are extremely high quality and comfortable. The breakfast is really great. Rich and high quality.
What could be improved: The only minor flaw was that the tea water provided at breakfast was not hot enough.Ece from Turkey – 20 April 2025 (10/10)
The location, cleanliness and breakfast of the hotel were great. We thank Ogi for taking care of us and for all his help and suggestions. We look forward to staying here again.
