You know what struck me first about Hotel Podostrog? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard – and honestly, that works in its favor. Walking in, you get that comfortable, lived-in feeling that a lot of three-star places either nail completely or miss entirely. This one gets it right. The lobby has this warm, slightly old-school vibe with dark wood and soft lighting that actually makes you want to sit down with a coffee instead of just rushing through to your room. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no pushy upselling or complicated key card explanations, just friendly staff who seemed genuinely interested in making sure you knew where everything was.

The rooms are what I’d call “pleasantly predictable” in the best way possible. Clean, well-maintained, with those little touches that show someone’s paying attention – fresh towels that actually smell good, curtains that block out light properly, and (this matters more than people think) a bathroom door that closes completely. I mean, you’d be surprised how many places mess that up. The beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t spend the first night adjusting to a weird mattress, and the air conditioning worked without sounding like a jet engine. There’s something to be said for a place that handles the basics really well instead of trying to wow you with fancy amenities they can’t maintain properly.

What really makes Hotel Podostrog work is that it feels honest about what it is. The 7.6 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be a luxury experience, but it’s definitely a step up from bare-bones budget accommodation. You’ll find yourself recommending it to friends who want a reliable, comfortable place to stay without paying resort prices. The kind of hotel where you can actually relax instead of worrying about hidden fees or whether the wifi will work when you need it. It’s not flashy, but sometimes that’s exactly what you’re looking for – a place that just lets you get on with enjoying your trip.

  The staff was helpful and quickly fixed the broken AC in our room.
  The room was big enough and had a nice sitting area with a sofa and a balcony.
  The room was very clean and the housekeeper was good.
  There are loads of coffee shops and restaurants around as well as bakeries, beauty salons and launderettes.
  
  What could be improved: Overall a very average hotel. I think for what we paid, we could have found a better deal.
  It's around 10 minutes walk away from the nearest beach which is very crowded and loud.
  If you want sunbeds, it costs €25 from other hotels, otherwise you have to stay on a pebbled beach with no shelter from the sun.
  The breakfast was very poor. We stayed there for 7 days and it was the same exact thing every day. Very greezy and not really tasty.

  Lokacija odlicna, osoblje moze biti dosta ljubaznije( prvenstveno gospodja Tanja sa recepcije), ostalo osoblje ljubazno i uljudno..
  Smjestaj udoban i cist.

  Lo staff é gentile e disponibile, siamo arrivati dopo mezzanotte e ci hanno aspettato senza alcun problema poiché hanno la reception H24. La stanza era essenziale con letto comodo, proprio balconcino, aria condizionata e frigo. Posizione centrale e vicino alla spiaggia principale che era però troppo affollata. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
  
  What could be improved: Il parcheggio é disponibile a fortuna poiché non é di proprietà dell'hotel ma parcheggiano tutti quelli che soggiornano lí attorno, un totale caos di auto.
  La colazione aveva tanti cibi salati ma quasi nulla di dolce.

  Personeller genel olarak sorularımıza gayet açıklayıcı yanıt verdiler, ilgili ve güler yüzlüydüler.
  Konum olarak ana caddeye ve marketlere çok yakın, sahile ise 15 dakika sürebilir.
  
  What could be improved: Kahvaltısı Türk lezzetlerine göre eksik kalıyor, çok fazla seçeneğimiz yok gibiydi. Farklı lezzetleri sevenler için iyi olabilir.
  Bulunduğumuz oda binaya bakıyordu, manzarası yoktu.
  Priz sayısı yetersizdi.

  Расположен отель на тихой улице, место с хорошо развитой инфраструктурой – рядом супермаркеты, кафе, центральная улица. Подходит для непритязательных туристов, которые целый день не сидят в отеле. Комната маленькая, но чистая, есть балкон, полотенца меняют каждый день.
  Надо иметь в виду, что у отеля нет своего участка на пляже, поэтому полотенца для пляжа не выдают.
  Выбор на завтраке не очень большой, но еда очень вкусная.

  What could be improved: Иногда исчезала горячая вода. Освещение номера тусклое, вайфай не очень. Места для размещения вещей мало. Справедливости ради отметим, что нам предлагали другой номер, но там была одна двуспальная кровать.

  Hotel Podostrog sa nachádza v blízkosti Slovenskej pláži, ktorá sa nachádza cca 150metrov, ako aj v blízkosti starého mesta, a je vzdialený cca 100metrov od hlavnej cesty, čo je výhoda od ruchu automobilov. Parkovanie je bezplatné. Ale čo by som chcel vyzdvihnúť, tak to by bol určite personál a kuchyňa .
  Personál začínajúc od recepčnej Tanji, čašníka Petra, pani kuchárky, pani upratovačky by som chcel povedať, že sú vždy usmiati, prívetiví, milí a keď si ešte len spomeniete, že niečo potrebujete, tak v tom okamžiku je to vybavené. Čo sa týkalo čistoty, tam niečo vytknúť a kuchyňa bola ako domáca, no niečo fantastické, mal som pocit, že tam majú kuchárky aj zo Slovenska . Keď navštívim toto letovisko, tak určite sa vrátim do hotela Podostrog. Ďakujem celému personálu za príjemné chvíle strávené vo vašom hoteli. Ján a Mária.
