I’ve been in plenty of four-star places that felt like they were trying too hard or cutting corners somewhere, but Hotel Vela just gets it right.   the hotel is beautiful, the room is very clean, their is free parking, good wifi. near the sea and the old city. 5 min away. great location.
  
  What could be improved: the breakfast was o.k. not great. their is everything you need, fruit, veg, aggs, but I would have liked also some local food.

  Great location! Quiet neighbourhood, near center of Budva. The room was spacious, everything was squeaky clean and the bed was firm and comfortable. Great choice of food for breakfast.

  We loved Hotel Vela and it made a pleasant change to have a sofa in our room to chill out on, as well as one of the most comfortable double beds we have experienced in Montenegro! We were there out of season in February but nonetheless it was a relief to have a guaranteed parking space, and the cooked breakfast was delicious. It was only a 10-minute walk to the Old Town, and our room was peaceful. We had a big window, no view to speak of but that didn't matter to us. We enjoyed our one-night stay very much.
