You know what caught me off guard about Hotel Villa Gracia?
You know what caught me off guard about Hotel Villa Gracia? It’s one of those places that feels way more intimate than you’d expect from a 4-star property. I mean, when you see a rating like 9.8, you sort of brace yourself for some overhyped tourist trap, but this place actually delivers on that promise – and honestly, it does it in the most understated way possible.
The whole vibe here is like staying at your well-traveled aunt’s house, if your aunt happened to have impeccable taste and a serious thing for quality linens. The lobby has this warm, lived-in elegance that immediately tells you the owners actually care about the details that matter. You’ll notice it in little things – the way the morning light hits the entrance around 8 AM, how the staff remembers your coffee preference after day two, the fact that you can actually open the windows (which is rarer than it should be these days). The rooms have this perfect balance of being updated without feeling sterile, and I’ve stayed in enough places to know that’s not easy to pull off. The beds are genuinely comfortable – not just hotel-brochure comfortable, but the kind where you actually sleep well and don’t wake up with a crick in your neck.
What really sets Villa Gracia apart, though, is how it sits in its neighborhood. You’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you can actually hear yourself think. The surrounding area has that authentic local rhythm – you’ll hear church bells in the distance, catch the aroma of real cooking drifting from nearby kitchens, and see actual residents going about their daily business instead of just other tourists with cameras. Parking isn’t a nightmare (trust me on this one), and the check-in process is refreshingly straightforward. The staff speaks that perfect level of English where you can have real conversations, not just transactional exchanges, and they’ll point you toward spots that don’t show up in every guidebook. I actually discovered my favorite local café because the front desk manager mentioned it in passing – it’s the kind of insider knowledge you usually have to stumble upon yourself. The whole place just works without trying too hard, which is probably why it maintains that almost-perfect rating. It’s not flashy or Instagram-obsessed, but it nails the fundamentals that actually matter when you’re traveling: comfort, location, and that intangible sense that you’re staying somewhere special rather than just somewhere convenient.

What Our Guests Say
Location and the Host!
What could be improved: Nothing
We had such an amazing stay at this hotel!
The staff were absolutely wonderful — always cheerful, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were super clean, spacious, and really comfortable — we slept like babies.
Breakfast was great too everyone could easily find something they liked.
The location is perfect — close to the center and also just a short walk to the beach, which made everything super convenient for us.
Honestly, we loved everything about our stay. Plus, they kindly let us leave our car parked a bit longer after check-out, which made our time in Budva so much easier.
Special thanks to Mrs. Liliana — thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant!
We definitely recommend this place and hope to come back someday!
The couple who own the hotel care about your stay in such a personal way, they made you feel very at home in their own home.

The hotel is great, the location is very close to the city center, the room was very clean and well equiped, the breakfast is delicious and the owner and the stuff of the hotel is very helpfull and kind! They deserve the maximum rating and i can truly suggest this hotel to everyone, you will not be disappointed! 😊
I stayed at this hotel in Budva with my mother for three days and we had a very nice time.
The hostess was kind and welcoming, and she gave us useful suggestions about places to visit in Montenegro. She also helped us by arranging an airport transfer, which made things easier for us.
The breakfast was enjoyable and offered a good variety.
We felt comfortable throughout our stay and would be happy to return in the future.
A very clean functional and a lovely property so close to the old Budva town and close to some good restaurants. The owner Liliane and her husband pull all stops to make you feel like royalty. So much warmth, care and personal attention. Thank you so much for everything Liliana
The hotel was very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The reception and kitchen staff are very helpful. Breakfast variety was plentiful. Pastries, pancakes, eggs and croissants were delicious. We asked for hot milk and the staff provided it immediately. Our room was cleaned every day. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of the old town. There is a restaurant and market around the hotel. We loved this accommodation and would choose to come here again.
Recommendation: There is an expresso machine for breakfast, but our eyes were looking for filter coffee.
Me and my fiance had a memorable stay in this family run hotel.
Boban and Liliana are fantastic owners and you feel their warmth and attentiveness the minute you arrive. Rooms are spacious, modern and very comfortable. You enjoy a wide selection of foods for breakfast every morning. It's a no-brainer if you are coming to Budva. Book this hotel!!!
Hotel and room was stunning, staff was very helpful in every aspect, very open to give a lot of nice recommendations. There is a parking space in the garage. Hotel is close to the center and at the same time it is quiet and peaceful. Delicious breakfasts on the terrace! Moreover, very comfortable beds, and the biggest plus was the wonderful view of the mountains from the balcony. We felt really taken care of. We were supposed to stay in Budva for one day, but we enjoyed it so much that we decided to stay a night longer in the hotel - it was amazing experience and the best stay during our whole Balkans trip :)
