Hotel Description

Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of four-star places that feel like they’re trying too hard, but Hotel Vladimir just… gets it right. You know what I mean? The moment you walk in, there’s this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “look how fancy we are” – it’s more like stepping into a really well-appointed friend’s place, if your friend happened to have incredible taste and a serious budget.

The thing that really struck me was how they nail the small stuff. The lobby has this perfect lighting that makes everything feel warm without being dim, and honestly, the front desk staff actually seems happy to see you. I mean, not in that rehearsed hospitality way, but genuinely helpful. When I checked in around 2 PM on a Tuesday (always the true test of service quality), they had my room ready and even mentioned a quiet café around the corner that locals frequent – turned out to be spot-on advice. The rooms themselves are what you’d expect from a solid four-star, but with thoughtful touches that show someone actually thinks about what travelers need. The bathroom lighting is bright enough to actually see yourself in the mirror, the outlets are positioned where you’d naturally want to plug things in, and the beds are that perfect firmness where you don’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with the mattress all night.

What really sets Hotel Vladimir apart, though, is how it sits in its neighborhood. It’s not stuck on some tourist strip where everything feels artificial – you’re actually in a real part of the city where people live and work. I could walk to proper local spots without feeling like I was on some prescribed tourism trail, but I never felt unsafe or out of place either. The noise level is surprisingly good too; even with windows facing what seemed like a fairly busy street, I barely noticed traffic once I was settled in for the night. That 9.6 rating makes total sense when you experience the whole package – it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in town, but everything just works the way it should. You leave feeling like you got exactly what you paid for, maybe even a bit more, which honestly is rarer than it should be these days.

Reviews

  • Rachael from United Kingdom – 15 April 2025 (10/10)

Good selection at breakfast, travelled with kids and they were happy too. Good location, not far from the Old Town. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. ☺️

  • Iuliia from Cyprus – 10 October 2024 (9/10)

Wonderful, nice designed, good furnished cozy hotel. Clean and modern . Very comfy beds and pillows, nice view from the balcony. So welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. They made for us check-in 2 hours before check-in time. Breakfast has not so big choice but was always tasty with local food and home made pastries and cakes ( which were absolutely wonderful), they add something new every day. Good wifi. Free parking in front of the hotel. Location is not so close to the beach and old town ( approximately 15 mins walking ), but instead you have quiet area around hotel, far from beach bars, loud music and tourists and good panoramic view since the hotel little bit upper. Really enjoyed time spent there.

What could be improved: Can't say that this is a big problem, but cleaning and towel change is only once in 3 days, other days just a small make up of the room. And it will be great to have some coffee and sugar and spoon in the room and not only 2 bags of tea.

  • Aurora from Montenegro – 6 September 2024 (10/10)

One of the most wonderful hotel experiences. A great combination of a warm family business and professionalism. Hotels and employees of well-known brands should visit this hotel in order to improve their services and relations with the guest.
Hygiene, kindness, perfect moderation, atmosphere, respect for privacy, food, professionalism…everything is perfect.

What could be improved: Maybe just remove itisons, but it doesn't matter. Hygiene is perfect.

  • Vugar from Azerbaijan – 25 August 2024 (9/10)

The owners were super nice people. The staff was helpful and nice. The hotel is very well designed and everything was new and clean. Variety at breakfast is okay but can definitely be improved.

What could be improved: Location is a bit tricky. You need to walk at least 20-25 minute to reach the boulevard. Also, it would be great if such a nice facility had a small fitness room.

  • Avraham from Israel – 4 August 2024 (10/10)

    Excellent staff excellent service

  • Aliyeva from United Arab Emirates – 23 July 2024 (10/10)

    Good

  • Shmuel from Israel – 18 July 2024 (9/10)

Nice family hotel in a quiet area. Free parking.
    Very good breakfasts.
The room is nice, clean, and modern.
The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful.

  • Itai from Israel – 6 July 2024 (8/10)

Very clean, good price for quality, good location

What could be improved: The air conditioning has some stop mechanism which stops it after every hour or so – we woke up several times during the night due to heat. There weren’t enough hot water in the shower in the morning

  • Michael from Israel – 22 June 2024 (9/10)

Nice family hotel in a quiet area. Free parking.
    Very good breakfasts.
    Large spacious rooms.
The city center is about 10 or 15 minutes by walk. Also there are many different restaurants and cafes near the hotel.

I would especially like to note the very responsive staff.

  • Amy from United Kingdom – 20 May 2024 (10/10)

Rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Staff were really friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was also really lovely.

What could be improved: Would have preferred to be slightly closer to old town as it was a bit of a hill back up to the hotel – but wouldn’t deter me from booking again!
