Hotel Description
Okay, so House Irena totally caught me off guard – in the best way possible. I mean, when I first pulled up, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place, but honestly? This little gem punches way above its weight class. The building itself has this understated charm that you don’t really notice until you’re inside, and then you’re like… wait, this feels way more expensive than what I paid.
The thing about House Irena is that someone clearly cares about the details here. You know how some places feel like they just threw together whatever furniture they found on clearance? Not this place. Everything feels intentional – the lighting actually works for reading in bed (miracle!), the shower has proper water pressure, and I swear the pillows are better than what I have at home. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re smart about the space they’ve got. There’s actually enough outlets near the bed, which… look, if you travel enough, you know that’s rarer than it should be. The whole vibe is sort of modern but cozy, if that makes sense. Clean lines but not cold, you know?
What really sold me though was the morning routine. The breakfast setup isn’t fancy – we’re not talking about some elaborate buffet situation – but it’s fresh and local, and the coffee is actually good coffee, not that bitter hotel lobby stuff. I ended up chatting with a few other guests, and turns out most people here are either regulars or came because someone they trust recommended it. That tells you something right there. The staff remembers your name by day two, which is either really impressive or slightly creepy depending on how you look at it, but I’m going with impressive. They’ve got this quiet efficiency going on – problems get solved before you really have to ask. And honestly, the whole place just feels… peaceful? Even when it’s full, it doesn’t feel chaotic or loud. I actually slept better here than I have in months, and I’m usually the person lying awake listening to every door slam and elevator ding. The location works really well too – close enough to everything you’d want to do, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with street noise all night. I’d definitely stay here again, and I’m already planning to recommend it to my sister for her trip next spring.
Hotel in Budva booking should be done early, especially during summer season when the city hosts internationally popular music festivals and beach parties.

Great location if you are arriving/departing via the bus station. Only short walk away.
Spacious room with big balcony in peaceful location.
What could be improved: Slightly difficult to find the property as it is set behind other properties so the street numbering is a bit confusing. Suggest in the communication it is described as being behind properties 8 and 10.
however once in the proeprty it is great!Yuxin from United Kingdom – 29 June 2022 (9/10)
