I mean, Becici itself is already one of those spots along the Montenegrin coast where you get the Budva vibe without all the chaos – and this place sits right in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to the main beach strip but far enough back that you’re not dealing with street noise until 3 AM.

The apartment setup here actually works better than most hotels I’ve stayed at in the area. You get proper space to spread out, which is huge if you’re doing more than just a quick weekend trip. The kitchen situation is legit too – not just some mini-fridge and hot plate situation, but actual counter space and decent cookware. That 9.4 rating starts making sense when you realize how rare it is to find a place that gets the practical stuff right. The owners clearly know what travelers actually need versus what looks good in photos. I remember the check-in being refreshingly straightforward – no weird key pickup locations or confusing building entrances like you get with some of these apartment rentals.

What really sold me on the place was how it handles that tricky balance of being tourist-friendly without feeling touristy, you know? Becici has this thing where it can feel a bit sterile compared to somewhere like Kotor, but staying here gave me more of a sense of actually living somewhere for a week rather than just passing through. The beach access is honestly better than most of the pricier spots closer to Budva proper – less crowded, cleaner water, and you can actually find a decent spot to set up without arriving at dawn. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the whole area just smells better. Less exhaust, more sea breeze. Those little details end up mattering more than you’d expect when you’re trying to actually relax. If you’re the type who wants to explore the coast a bit – maybe day trips to Sveti Stefan or up to the mountains – this works as a really good home base without breaking the budget on accommodation.

  We really enjoyed staying in this apartment for 10 days. It has everything you need for comfortable vacation including small things you usually don’t expect and normally take with you when renting apartments. Sandra is a very good host, she was very friendly, competent, and flexible and helped us with all requests.
