You know what really caught me off guard about Ivanovic Residences? Walking in, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place, but there’s this surprisingly warm, lived-in feeling that hits you right away. It’s one of those spots that feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s apartment than a sterile hotel room – and I mean that in the best possible way.

The thing is, this place has character in all the right ways. The rooms have this comfortable, slightly eclectic vibe with furniture that actually looks like someone chose it rather than ordered it from a hotel catalog. I spent a good chunk of my stay just appreciating the little details – the way the morning light comes through the windows, how quiet it gets in the evenings (which, honestly, can be rare depending on where you end up in the city). The Wi-Fi is solid, the beds are genuinely comfortable, and there’s enough space to actually unpack your stuff without feeling cramped. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no unnecessary upselling or confusing key card explanations, just friendly efficiency.

What really makes Ivanovic Residences work is that 8.0 rating feels completely earned rather than inflated. It’s not trying to be something it isn’t, but what it does do, it does well. The staff clearly knows their guests aren’t looking for marble lobbies or concierge services – they want a clean, comfortable base that doesn’t break the bank but still feels like a real place. I actually found myself hanging out in the common areas more than I usually do, partly because they’re genuinely welcoming spaces and partly because you end up chatting with other travelers who seem to have that same “pleasant surprise” reaction to the place. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and there’s this nice balance of being helpful when you need something but not hovering around constantly. If you’re the type who appreciates authentic local flavor over generic luxury, and you want to feel like you’re staying somewhere with actual personality, this is definitely worth considering. Just don’t expect room service or a fitness center – but honestly, that’s kind of the point.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Budva at least two months ahead for major events like Sea Dance Festival, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near the beach.

  What could be improved: I would just suggest to add some fourniture like chairs to be able to put the clothes somewhere and at least I would add a shower curtain in the bathroom with a small stuff on the floor to block the water from the shower

  The apartment is located in a newly built residential building. You might have difficulties finding the address, just follow the street (Ive Lole Ribara) and look for the sign on the left, when coming upwards.
  The location of the apartment is great, the local beach is just a few minutes away by walk, via an overpass above the main road of Bečići. The fascilities of the individual flats are good, they are in accordiance of the written and picture-shown. Lifts are indeed available.
  The host is super friendly and generous, the key handover was without any problems, the neighbourhood is quiet, although when it isn't, the windows are perfectly exclude any noises.

  What could be improved: It was hard to find the exact building from google maps. Shower has no door or curtain – floot wet in bathroom when you shower.
