You know what struck me first about Jadran Studio? It’s tucked away on Ulica XIII in this quiet residential part of Petrovac where you can actually hear the waves at night instead of traffic. I mean, most places claim they’re “near the beach” but this one’s maybe a three-minute walk to that gorgeous stretch of sand that locals still call “the good part” – you know, before it gets crowded with the day-trip crowds from Budva.

The studio itself is honestly pretty clever with space. Someone clearly thought about how real people travel because there’s actually room to open your suitcase without doing yoga moves around the bed. The kitchenette isn’t just for show either – I watched the guy next door come back with fresh fish from the morning market (it’s just down the hill, by the way) and actually cook it. The whole place has this lived-in feel that’s way better than those sterile hotel rooms where everything’s bolted down. And here’s something you don’t always get – decent water pressure and hot water that actually stays hot, which sounds basic but trust me, it’s not always a given in this part of Montenegro.

What really sells this place though is how it sits in Petrovac itself. You’re far enough from the main Budva madness – which gets absolutely insane in July and August – but close enough that a quick bus ride gets you there if you want the nightlife scene. The family running Jadran Studio seems to know everyone in town, and they’ll point you toward the little konoba where the fishermen eat (not the touristy one with English menus) or tell you which days the local women sell homemade rakija at the market. Parking’s not a nightmare either, which honestly might be worth mentioning since finding a spot in coastal Montenegro during peak season can make grown adults cry. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you think about it – it’s not trying to be some fancy resort, but it nails the things that actually matter when you’re spending real time somewhere instead of just Instagram-ing your way through.

  Location is not perfect, but still quite OK, especially if you prefer exercise. Wi-Fi is excellent. Hosts are very responsive. Everything in studio is as on the photos on Booking. Interior is tastefully furnished.

  Ownewrs was really nice and meet as at apartment, also we requested a 2 additional winter blanket and they brought them ready quickly.
  It was everything to comfortable life in apartment.

  The appartment had great facilities and a very nice balcony with seaview. The owner is very willing to help and even offered to drive us to the Petrovac bus station since the roads are very steep. We really enjoyed our stay, the host really made it worth visiting.
  
  What could be improved: Not really a bad thing, but be aware the accommodation is almost at the top of the hill. So walking can be hard with your suitcase.

  Marvelous view to the sea from balcony for those who're not afraid to climb up to the hill (we lived on top of Petrovac). Black design inside is calming. Nice variant for a pair. Generally all needed things for living.
  
  What could be improved: Interior design is not that fresh, lamps above the dining table and on the mirror in bathroom do not work, the washmachine should be fixed (there are errors at the end of washing programes, you have to switch the machine off to get clothes out)

  Prelijep studio apartman, ima sve sto je potrebno za odmor. Terasa sa super pogledom. Docekao nas je stariji bracni par, jako ljubazni. Iako su Turske nacionalnosti i ne znaju srpski, nije bio problem u komunikaciji. Doci cemo opet!
