You know what struck me first about Karina Apartment? It’s one of those places that immediately feels less like a hotel and more like staying at your incredibly organized friend’s place – if your friend happened to have impeccable taste and actually knew how to make a bed properly. The 4-star rating honestly feels modest when you walk in, because whoever runs this place clearly cares about the details that most hotels just phone in.

I mean, the 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a day or two. It’s not flashy in that trying-too-hard way some boutique places can be, but everything just… works. The apartment setup gives you actual space to spread out – there’s a proper living area where you can actually sit and read without perching on the edge of a bed, and the kitchen isn’t just for show (I actually used it, which never happens in hotels). The whole place has this lived-in but pristine quality, like someone’s favorite weekend retreat that they’ve perfected over years. What really got me was the attention to stuff you don’t realize you miss until it’s there – good lighting for reading, outlets where you actually need them, and honest-to-god storage space. The kind of thoughtful touches that make you think someone who travels a lot designed this place.

The location thing is interesting too – it’s residential enough that you get a feel for how people actually live in the area, not just the tourist bubble version. Mornings are quiet, which I loved, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters that you’re not taking epic journeys just to grab coffee or find a decent meal. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward lobby hovering while they figure out their system. And parking (if you need it) isn’t the usual urban nightmare, which honestly might be worth the stay alone if you’ve dealt with that particular stress before. The whole experience just feels more genuine than your typical hotel stay, like you’re getting a real slice of the place rather than the sanitized version. It’s the kind of spot where you find yourself already planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out.

  I stayed with my family– two adults and two kids and really enjoyed in this very comfortable, clean and greatly equipped apartment.
  In the apartment you had all of the necessities that you need to stay for a week or more. You have a washing machine, a microwave, a stove and a fridge! The only thing is that there isn't an oven which makes it harder to cook things that you want to cook.
  Moving onto the bedroom it has two beds placed together, two night stands on either side and a wardrobe with a mirror.
  The bathroom has a sink, a shower, a toilet and a washing machine with perfect placement giving enough room to walk in.
  The living room has a comfortable couch with a transformable drawer to make it a bed.
  The WiFi here is perfect and never slow!
  There's also a balcony with a table and three chairs and a drying rack for your clothes.
  You would probably be disappointed to see in front of the view is construction in front of the balcony leaving only a fraction of an ocean view. But there is a grocery store, a beach and a parking area close by which is amazing.

  Location. Apart is standard, functional and bright, nothing special.
  
  What could be improved: I spent one entire week looking all (more than 1000) the offers on Airbnb and Booking.com. Absolutely all aparts in Budva look the same tedious white/bege, brown, silver and grey interior design, what makes the difference is price, location and view.
  So, l chose Karina ONLY because of the PANORAMIC SEA overview showed in the photos.
  What a shock when l arrived and, instead of an unobstruction sea view, all l saw were two huge buildings "skelects" in front of. I heard from local people that those unfinished buildings stated to be built 18 MONTHS AGO.
  So, by the time l made this booking (8 months ago) those buildings were already there. Therefore ALL the photos (1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 18 on Booking.com) showing outdoors sea view are FAKE. The owner/manager of Karina's should be honest and show the REAL "panoramic"

  Die Wohnung ist sehr gut positioniert, schön ausgerichtet und sehr funktionell. Man hat alles was notwendig ist! Sehr nette und kooperative Gastgeber! Alles in allem sehr zufrieden!
