You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of four-star places that left me feeling pretty “meh,” but Kondo Hotel Allure actually lives up to its name. From the moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this immediate sense that someone really thought about the details here – and I mean the kind of details that matter when you’re dragging luggage after a long flight and just want things to work smoothly. The check-in was honestly one of the fastest I’ve experienced, and the front desk staff had this genuine warmth that felt refreshingly unscripted. The whole place has this sophisticated vibe without being stuffy, if that makes sense. The rooms themselves are where this hotel really shines though – mine had these floor-to-ceiling windows that let in amazing natural light during the day, and the blackout curtains actually worked (seriously, why is this so rare?).

The bed situation is top-notch, I’m talking about the kind of mattress and pillows that had me sleeping better than I do at home. What really impressed me was how quiet everything was – I mean, you’d expect some hallway noise or street sounds, but the soundproofing is clearly something they invested in. The bathroom deserves a mention too because the shower pressure was fantastic and the whole space felt modern without being cold. Honestly, the little touches throughout the hotel show they understand what travelers actually need – there are plenty of outlets near the bed, the WiFi is genuinely fast, and room service arrived exactly when they said it would. The restaurant downstairs serves breakfast that’s way better than your typical hotel buffet spread, though I’d recommend getting there earlier rather than later if you want the good stuff.

I stayed during what seemed like a busy period, but the elevators moved quickly and I never felt like the place was overcrowded or chaotic. The housekeeping team clearly knows what they’re doing – my room was refreshed perfectly each day without anything feeling disturbed or moved around weirdly. Look, with a 9.3 rating, you might think this place is overhyped, but after spending several nights there, I actually get why people rate it so highly. It’s one of those hotels where everything just works the way it should, which sounds simple but is surprisingly hard to find. The staff genuinely seems to care about making sure you have what you need, the facilities are well-maintained, and there’s this overall attention to quality that you notice in a dozen small ways throughout your stay. If you’re looking for a solid four-star experience that won’t disappoint – and trust me, I’ve been disappointed plenty of times – this place delivers on what it promises.

  Beautiful, modern apartment in the centre of Budva. Everything was in walking distance: 3 supermarkets, the beach, restaurants, pharmacies, the old town, etc. We went in March, so we used the AC for heating, and it was great that there was a unit in both rooms. The AC was really quiet too. The rooms, kitchen, and bathroom were super clean. We had a lot of high quality towels and even bathrobes. We had private underground parking. We were looked after really well.

  I was staying with my girl friend, we enjoyed staying there. The apartment was exceptionally clean and nice. We can find everything in the room. I was beyond our expectation.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing mentionable! We wanted to try spa, but it was available because of renovation work was ongoing.

  I was extremely satisfied with my stay! Everything was excellent, the hosts were very kind, and I would highly recommend this place. It was very clean, exactly as shown in the photos, and the location was perfect.

  Brand new apartment complex with good facilities. Location was perfect, a short walk from the beach and old town. The room even had washing machine and dishwasher, with supplies renewed daily. Kornelija at the reception was very friendly.
  
  What could be improved: Our room was facing the apartment building next door. Both windows (bedroom and bathroom) were meters away from the other buildings windows, so we had to keep the curtains closed. There were a lot of cupboards but no space to keep the luggages open if you want to keep your things in the luggage.

  The hotel looks really nice, the location is great. Close to the water and there was everything that we needed nearby.
  We were given a bigger suite than the one that we booked, it was literally an apartment with one bedroom, big bathroom and living room with kitchen. It was beautiful and comfortable. There was a dishwasher in the kitchen and a washing machine in the bathroom.
  The employees were nice and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: There was construction in front of the hotel, but it was a minor issue, because as far as I remember it wasn’t loud when we were inside.

  Cleanliness, location, rooms, rooms have all amenities, free underground parking, close to the old town, close to the beach, near supermarkets, especially Ms. Milica, who sits at the register. During the 5 days we were told on a daily basis what city to visit, places to visit, etc. she helped us a lot.

  We received a bigger room/apartment at no additional cost, and the owner was kind enough to let us check out 2 hours later than usual.
  
  It's a nice spacious and well-designed apartment with lots of light sources and a working kitchen. The building itself is super close to the beach and 10 minutes (of walking) away from Budva's Old Town.
  
  What could be improved: The water heater is a bit small, so if you're not traveling alone, you might want to wait a bit after someone else took a shower… or risk ending up in cold water.
  
  Also if you're living on the ground floor, the neighbors might be walking right past your panoramic window in the morning. Not really a problem, but some people care a lot about their privacy 🙂
