You know what struck me first about the Laurel Apartment See View? It’s actually got that sea view right there in the name, and honestly, they’re not overselling it. From this spot on Maksima Gorkog street, you’re looking out over the Adriatic, and I mean really looking – not squinting through other buildings trying to catch a glimpse of blue between concrete blocks.

The location is sort of perfect if you know Budva at all. Maksima Gorkog runs parallel to the coast, so you’re close enough to hear the waves on quiet mornings but far enough up that you don’t get the constant stream of beachgoers trudging past your window with sandy feet and beach chairs. The Old Town’s maybe a seven-minute walk downhill – and I actually timed it because that’s the kind of thing that matters when you’re hauling groceries or coming back from dinner. There’s this little shortcut through the residential area that the locals use, cuts right down to the medieval walls. Most tourists take the longer route along the main drag.

What I really appreciate about this place is how it feels more like staying in someone’s actual apartment than a sterile hotel room. The building itself has that Mediterranean apartment vibe – you know, the kind where you hear your neighbors chatting on their balconies in the evening, but it’s not annoying, just… lived-in. The apartment comes with a proper kitchen, which honestly saved me a fortune because eating out in Budva every single meal gets expensive fast, especially in summer. I mean, the restaurants are great, but sometimes you just want to make coffee the way you like it and eat breakfast without getting dressed.

Parking can be a bit tricky around here – well, parking’s tricky everywhere in Budva if we’re being honest – but there are spots on the street if you’re patient, and the host actually gave me some insider tips about where locals park. The building’s entrance is pretty straightforward to find, though the street numbers in this part of town can be a little confusing at night when you’re coming back from the marina area.

The rating of 9 makes total sense once you’ve been there. It’s not luxury-resort fancy, but everything works, it’s clean, and that view really does make your morning coffee taste better. Plus, you’re positioned perfectly for exploring – the Becici beach is just down the coast if you want something less crowded than Budva’s main beaches, and if you’re into hiking, the trail up to the fortress starts practically around the corner. The host seems to actually live in Budva (not just manage properties from somewhere else), so they know things like which bakery opens earliest and where to catch the bus to Kotor without walking all the way to the main station. Those little details honestly matter more than having a concierge in a fancy lobby.

The concierge service in Budva can arrange exclusive boat tours, secure reservations at seaside restaurants, and organize visits to nearby Sveti Stefan and Kotor Bay.

  Спокойно заселились, несмотря на очень поздний заезд. Хозяйка Кристина рассказала очень подробно, как попасть в жилье. Вообще, коммуникация – на высшем уровне. На следующий день приехала, ответила на все вопросы, посоветовала лучшие места отдыха и ближайшие магазины.
  Номер комфортный, прочная кровать размера king-size, кондиционер, все необходимое на кухне и в ванной было в наличии, вай-фай шустрый и непрерывный. Но особо впечатлил вид на море и остров с открытой террасы. Это стало любимым местом приема пищи.
  Несмотря на размещение апартаментов на горе, до моря всего 900 метров неспешным шагом. Перепад высоты при этом – примерно с 9-12-этажный дом, и он нерезкий. Для тех, кто любит вкусно поесть и остаться при этом в форме – самое то! 😉
  Еще один жирный плюс размещения – собственный гараж. Автомобиль не жарится на солнце и не рискует получить царапины от узких мест размещения на улице.
  Недалеко от дома – торговый центр и большой супермаркет, что добавляет плюсов этой локации.
