You know what caught me off guard about Le Marc Guest house? It’s one of those places that doesn’t look like much from the outside, but once you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the details. I mean, it’s a 3-star place, so you’re not expecting marble lobbies or anything fancy – but honestly, the whole vibe just works.
The rooms are what I’d call “thoughtfully simple.” Clean lines, decent beds (I’m picky about mattresses, and theirs passed the test), and they’ve managed to squeeze in storage space without making everything feel cramped. The bathrooms are surprisingly well-designed too – good water pressure, which you can never take for granted, and those little touches like proper hooks for your towels instead of just a single bar that never fits everything. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night. I was expecting thin walls given the price point, but either they’ve done something right with soundproofing or they just attract respectful guests.
The staff runs the place like they genuinely want you to have a good time, not just get through check-in and disappear. They’ll actually tell you useful stuff – like which coffee shop opens earliest if you’re an early riser, or where to grab groceries without paying tourist prices. Check-in was smooth, none of that awkward hovering while they figure out their system. And here’s something I appreciated – they don’t oversell the place. No grand promises, just solid execution on the basics. The common areas feel lived-in rather than staged, with books that people have actually read and furniture that’s comfortable instead of just photogenic. Parking can be a bit tight if you’re driving something larger than a compact car, but there’s usually space if you’re not rolling in at peak hours. The WiFi actually works throughout the building, which seems obvious but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s got that sweet spot of being well-run without trying too hard, and the 8.7 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there.
Best hotels in Budva range from charming boutique properties in the historic old town to elegant beachfront resorts with stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and surrounding mountains.

What could be improved: Nothing special
Good location, clean rooms and great&friendly staff, even tho they dont all speak english so well and we had few slight misunderstandings during a breakfast, but thats okay. Breakfast is overall really good.
Čistoća, moderan namještaj, doručak, ljubaznost osoblja. Ovaj smještaj zaslužuje maksimalnu ocjenu i volio bih kad bih na svakom putovanju imao ovakvu uslugu. Ocjena 100/100.
Nice and clean apartment. Friendly staff.
It was amazing holiday! Everything was very clean and new, good breakfast. Comphortable location, everything close to the hotel.
What could be improved: -
Everything was great, you choose your breakfast from a menu. There is underground parking.
Firstly, the location was perfect, just a short walk from Budva Riviera through the Mainski street, with a mega market nearby. Specifically, I have to mention the two Mogren beaches with more sandy beaches and less pebbles, behind the Old Town. Moreover, the guesthouse was very close to the bus station, just turn left from Le Marc and then left along the Filipa Kovacevica street.
Secondly, the staff were very service-minded, helpful and friendly, especially Marco, Dalia, the owner, and the cleaning lady. The breakfast menu was very good, and the food delicious. The super clean room with a balcony (useful when drying towels etc.) was good sized, and the bed was comfortable. Although we had over 30 degrees during our stay, the room did not get too hot. The air conditioner was very good and easy to use.
All in all, we are very pleased with Le Marc Guesthouse and can warmly recommend it to other visitors to Budva. Thank you for making our stay in Budva so special!
