Lovely apartment with big terrace in Budva

So here’s the thing about this place on Spaska Street – it completely changed how I think about staying in Budva. I mean, when you hear “apartment rental,” you’re probably picturing some cramped studio with a sad little balcony, right? Well, this is the opposite of that. The terrace is honestly massive, and I’m not just saying that because I’ve been spoiled by tiny European balconies. You can actually fit a proper dining table out there and still have room to stretch out with a book.

The location is what really got me though. Spaska 1 puts you right in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to hear the buzz from the Old Town (maybe a 3-minute walk to Njegoševa Street where all the action is), but far enough that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM. The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there – you know what I mean? Not that sterile hotel room vibe where everything’s beige and boring. There’s character in the details, real coffee cups instead of paper ones, and the kind of comfortable couch you’d actually want to collapse on after a day of exploring those medieval walls.

What surprised me most was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re basically in the heart of everything. The building’s got thick walls – I’m guessing it’s one of those older Montenegrin constructions that was built to last. During the day, you’ll catch glimpses of local life from that terrace: neighbors hanging laundry, kids playing football in the narrow streets below, the occasional cat lounging in whatever shade it can find. And honestly, the fact that this place has a 9.6 rating makes complete sense once you’ve been there. It’s not trying to be fancy or Instagram-perfect, it’s just really, really good at being exactly what you need. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward “meet me at the corner near the thing that looks like a restaurant” nonsense you sometimes get with apartment rentals. Fair warning though: summer in Budva can be intense, so having that big outdoor space where you can catch the evening breeze off the Adriatic? That’s not just nice to have, it’s practically essential.

  Wonderful apartment with all facilities and a beautiful view of the mountains, not far from the old town. The way to Mogren Beach is about 15 minutes. The owner is very friendly and always in touch. I would gladly stay again, I recommend it.

  Great location! 7 minutes to Old Town and beaches. 10 minutes to a Shopping center. 5 minutes to the best restaurants.
  The view from balcony is excellent! We had coffee there every morning. Kivi grow on the balcony and make it even more beautiful.

  The host was kind and cooperative and what we got for this cheep was more than sufficient. Parking our large car wasn't an issue, the rooms were perfectly chilly in the hot summer weather and the location couldn't be better – a 5 minute walk from every point of interest in the resort.
  
  What could be improved: No complaints. Other than the fact that the many cats that resided in the vicinity didn't let us pet them much. 🙂

  Nice apartment with a huge terrace overlooking the whole Budva. Good location – very close to the old town, but be prepared to climb a lot of stairs to get to the place. A looot of cats in the yard 🙂

  Near to city center one can arrive the old city by walking five minutes. The apartment was satisfactory in means of many expectations. There is a spectecular scene from the terrace of the house. The landlord is a perfect man. You can always trust him.
  
  What could be improved: Furniture was clean but old fashioned. It would be better when it is changed. The bathtube needs a curtain or a cabin. Everywhere was wet because of the water coming from the shower. Kitchen appliances need to be changed. Nevertheless it was comfortable.

  Понравился вид с балкона, можно вообще никуда не ходить, сидеть на балконе и смотреть на горы – и этого уже достаточно. Прямо за домом начинается крутой зеленый горный склон. Перед домом, под балконом растет прекрасное мандариновое дерево, мандарины лопаются от спелости и падают на ступени лестницы, по которой вы будете спускаться на улицу. Да, у вас будет своя лестница (90 ступеней, мы посчитали))). Подниматься легко. (На фото – эта лестница и вид с балкона на горы и вниз, в город на улицу)
  
  What could be improved: Странно, но в ванной нет занавески, может в Черногории не приняты душевые занавески?))
  Предупредим тех счастливчиков, которые поедут в Будву после нас: пляжи в городе тесные. До пляжа Мегрен (самый симпатичный, за городом) примерно полчаса неспешной прогулки от этой квартиры. Но дорога приятная.
  Городской пляж Slovenska Beach – очень на любителя, если вам подходит пляж в городе на фоне кафе и ресторанов – этот пляж гораздо ближе.

  Evin konumu, temizliği ve olanakları çok iyiydi. Budvada her yer yokuş olduğu için evin yolunda biraz yokuş çıkıyorsunuz fakat yoldaki merdivenleri keşfetmek hayatımızı çok kolaylaştırdı. Terasda keyif yapma fırsatını kaçırmayın derim 🙂
  
  What could be improved: Wifi hizmetinin biraz iyileştirilmesi gerekiyor mesela terasdayken wifi çekmiyor 🙁
