Okay, so I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Luča Apartments, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in unassuming packages, and this little gem absolutely nailed it.

The location is actually pretty brilliant if you know Budva at all. You’re tucked away from the main tourist madness on Slovenska Obala (trust me, you don’t want to be right on that strip during July – it’s chaos), but you can still walk to the Old Town in maybe 10 minutes. The thing is, you get this perfect balance where you’re close enough to stumble back from dinner at Arsenal or Jadran Kod Krsta, but far enough that you’re not hearing drunk tourists singing at 3 AM. I mean, the apartment building itself looks pretty standard from the outside – sort of that typical Balkan residential style – but once you’re inside, it’s clear someone actually cares about this place. The units are way cleaner and more thoughtfully set up than most apartment rentals I’ve stayed in around Montenegro.

What really got me was the attention to small details that honestly make or break a stay. The Wi-Fi actually works (shocking for the Balkans sometimes), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a dying helicopter, and – this might sound weird but hear me out – the shower pressure is fantastic. After spending a day hiking around Kotor Bay or getting sand-blasted on Mogren Beach, that matters more than you’d think. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, which is clutch because eating out every meal in Budva during peak season will drain your wallet fast. There’s a decent Idea supermarket about a 5-minute walk away where you can grab groceries without paying tourist prices. Parking can be a bit tricky during summer – it’s not like Western Europe where everything’s organized – but the hosts seem to know the neighborhood well and can point you toward spots that won’t get you towed. The 9.3 rating honestly makes sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not luxury by any means, but it delivers exactly what it promises without the usual Airbnb surprises (you know, like finding out the “fully equipped kitchen” is just a hot plate and a mini fridge). The whole experience just feels… reliable? Like someone’s grandmother is making sure everything runs smoothly. If you’re planning to use Budva as a base for exploring the coast – hitting up Sveti Stefan, doing the Kotor thing, maybe catching a ferry to Dubrovnik – this is honestly one of the better value plays I’ve found in the area.

  The apartment has just been renovated, everything is new, very nice to be in. The room is very conveniently zoned with a partition creating a separate kitchen space, hallway and sleeping area. The linen and towels smelled pleasantly fresh, were white and soft. The bed has a very comfortable mattress and four pillows which is a big plus, there is also a warm blanket.
  The kitchen is perfect, all the utensils are new, there is everything you need to prepare meals every day.
  The water pressure in the bathroom is excellent, hot water was always fine, no interruptions. With the internet also no problems, wifi is fast.
  The apartment is very bright, we got a beautiful view of the mountains and the city, you could even see a piece of the sea, we liked to eat on the balcony, enjoy the picturesque views.
  Location is excellent, do not have to climb steep hills, the road is quite gentle to the beach about 10 minutes on foot, around a lot of stores and cafes, a large VOLLI about 7 minutes walk. The hotel has its own parking spaces, which is also very convenient.
  I would like to emphasize the kindness and hospitality of the hotel receptionists, we were very warmly welcomed, it was nice to communicate, and also quickly responded to check-in.

  Świetna lokalizacja na krótki wyjazd(blisko sklepy,piekarnia, 5-10 min do plaży i głównego deptaku, starego miasta.
  Pokój bardzo dobrze wyposażony, bardzo czysto, co 2 dni sprzątane i nowe ręczniki. Bardzo dobry kontakt z obiektem przez Whatsapp. Obsługa bardzo miła (szczególnie Jelena) bardzo pomocna ciepła Pani

  Отличное расположение, приветливые хозяева, апартаменты новые, чистые, светлые, вид на горы , удобный матрас, новые пушистые полотенца, фен. Остались довольны отдыхом.
  
  What could be improved: Не хватает крючков для полотенца в ванной и сушилки на балконе. Был не настроен телевизор, мы подключали свой ноут через HDMI кабель, но, возможно, потому что апарты новые.

  Apartamento limpio y nuevo a unos 15 minutos del centro histórico de Budva.
  Cama muy cómoda. Pequeño balcón y pequeña cocina. Limpieza cada 2 días.
  
  What could be improved: Difícil localización, ya que los apartamentos están dentro de un edificio con el nombre de OTROS APARTAMENTOS, con lo cual es imposible adivinar donde están una vez que llegas a la calle.
  Aunque el apartamento es nuevo las dimensiones son muy pequeñas. Para una estancia de varios días puede resultar incómodo.

  Отсутствие хозяина апартаментов в месте проживания, невозможность быстро решить какие-либо вопросы
  При заезде были проблемы с wifi, пришлось устранять их самостоятельно.
  Хозяин апартаментов отказал в помощи с хранением вещей до момента отъезда в аэропорт (всего нужно было 3 часа хранения), пришлось искать хранение самостоятельно, просить чужих людей нам посодействовать.
  На все вопросы хозяин отвечал, что не знает, чем и как нам помочь.
