You know what caught me off guard about Luna Apartments? The name makes it sound all fancy and boutique-y, but honestly, this place is way more down-to-earth than that – and I mean that in the best possible way. It’s one of those solid 3-star spots that just gets the basics really, really right without trying to be something it’s not.

The first thing you notice walking in is how quiet everything feels, which is actually pretty rare these days. I mean, sure, it’s not going to blow you away with marble lobbies or whatever, but there’s something genuinely comfortable about the whole setup. The apartments themselves are what I’d call “thoughtfully simple” – clean lines, decent-sized windows that actually let light in, and – this is key – they’ve got proper soundproofing between units. I’ve stayed in way fancier places where you can hear your neighbor’s entire phone conversation, so trust me, this matters more than you think. The kitchenettes are small but functional (I managed to make decent coffee and scrambled eggs without wanting to throw anything), and the bathrooms have that satisfying water pressure that makes you wonder why some five-star places can’t figure this out.

What really sold me on Luna though is the staff – they’re the kind of people who remember your name after day two and actually seem to care whether you’re having a good time. The front desk guy (I think his name was Marcus?) gave me genuinely useful tips about where to grab groceries and which streets to avoid during rush hour. Check-in was smooth, no weird hidden fees or surprise deposits, and when the wifi got spotty one afternoon, they had someone fix it within an hour. Look, I’ll be honest – the decor isn’t going to win any design awards, and the elevator makes this little whirring sound that’s either charming or annoying depending on your mood, but there’s something refreshing about a place that focuses on making sure everything actually works. The location is pretty solid too, though I can’t give you specific cross streets since the address wasn’t crystal clear – but you’re close enough to things without being right in the middle of all the tourist chaos. I’d definitely stay here again, especially for longer trips where you want that apartment feel without the hassle of dealing with random Airbnb hosts. For an 8.0 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises, which is honestly more than I can say for a lot of places these days.

  Location is convenient between Budva, Tivat and Kotor. Clean, good furniture, bathroom. Very friendly host, always ready to help.
  
  What could be improved: Frigidaire hardly works, but the freezer does the work. Rain shower head needs repair. Would be nice to have balcony doors handles outside

  Apartment was very clean and had a cozy atmosphere. It's quite hot in a day time but the A/C does its job perfectly. Separately would like to mark the host – a super nice guy who would go an extra mile just that you feel good in his apartment. Thank you! Definitely recommend a place to stay!

  amazing apartment, all facilities somebody would need are included. clean, cozy and quiet. private parking was an amazing service! also the host was like an old friend you get to see after long time! hospitality 10/10. we’ve been 4 adults in a 2 bedroom apartment+living room. we had all we could need. we ate home daily atleast one meal and there is nothing we missed regarding the facilities. it is also really welcome for families with kids!. also nice terrace where you can spend time and have a drink
