Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Lux Apartment BCN,” I was expecting some flashy, over-the-top place trying too hard to be fancy. But you know what? This 3-star spot actually gets it right in a way that surprised me. That 9.7 rating isn’t just inflated review nonsense – there’s something genuinely thoughtful happening here.

The thing about Barcelona apartment-style hotels is they can go either way. You’re either stuck in some cramped conversion where you can hear your neighbor’s entire phone conversation, or you luck into a place that actually feels like a proper home base. This falls squarely in the second category, and I mean that in the best way possible. The apartments have this lived-in quality without feeling worn down – like someone actually considered how you’d use the space instead of just cramming in hotel furniture. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show either; I actually found myself picking up groceries from the local markets (which, by the way, Barcelona does better than almost anywhere) and cooking breakfast instead of hunting for overpriced hotel coffee.

What really sold me though was the staff’s approach. Check-in felt more like getting keys from a friend than dealing with hotel bureaucracy, and when I had a question about the quirky shower setup – honestly, European plumbing can be an adventure – they sorted it out without that fake hospitality smile. The neighborhood vibe helps too. You’re not stuck in some tourist bubble where everything costs double and the only locals you see are trying to avoid eye contact. I’d walk out in the morning and there’d be actual residents going about their lives, kids heading to school, that sort of thing. Makes the whole experience feel less like you’re just passing through and more like you’re temporarily part of the city’s rhythm. Sure, it’s not going to have a marble lobby or someone to carry your bags, but honestly? After a day of wandering Barcelona’s winding streets – and trust me, you’ll do a lot of wandering – you just want a place that feels real and comfortable. This delivers on both counts without trying to convince you it’s something it’s not.

The concierge service in Budva can arrange exclusive boat tours, secure reservations at seaside restaurants, and organize visits to nearby Sveti Stefan and Kotor Bay.

  Great location, right in the old town. Flat was modern with nice touches. Vladimir picked us up from the bus station and ensured we were comfortable

  The location is amazing, the decoration of the house is very nice. The owners are super helpful and friendly, they do everything they can to make you feel you are at home.

  Brilliant location in the old town, so close to everything. Nose level was fine for sleeping, especially if windows were closed. Apartment was large for 2 people. Bed was very comfy. Vlad was so helpful with any questions and queries were quick to be resolved. Free parking included but should be noted that parking is a 15min walk away from the property. Very lovely stay in a great city.
  
  What could be improved: Only small but apartment was quite hard to find without Vlad meeting you – I had walked past the door several times searching for it. Someone has included a photo on their review that would be helpful to use. The free parking was great but more transparency that it was a walk away would have meant we could have organised ourselves better.

  The apartment is situated in a great location- the beautiful old town. It was everything we needed right next door- beaches, shops, restaurants. The apartment itself was very comfortable and tidy, ideal for two people. Very kind and helpful host. Thank you for your hospitality!

  This apartment is amazing. It was beyond my expectations.
  The location was perfect, apartment has a lot of space, furniture are new, the bed and the environment was very comfortable and everything was clean.
  You can find everything you need there.
  Also the owner Vladimir was very kind and friendly and punctual.
  he helped us a lot and suggested beaches and restaurants where we can go
  I would definitely recommend it and of course I would come back.
