You know what caught me off guard about Lux Apartments Sunrior? The name makes it sound like some generic chain, but honestly, this place has way more character than I expected from a 4-star spot. I mean, it’s not trying to be the Ritz or anything, but there’s this really comfortable, lived-in feel that actually works in its favor.

The apartments themselves are pretty spacious – and I’m talking actually spacious, not that “European cozy” thing where you can’t fully open your suitcase. The kitchenettes are legit functional too, which is rare. I ended up cooking breakfast a couple times because the local market nearby had these amazing fresh pastries and coffee that honestly beat room service anyway. The whole setup feels more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed guest room than a hotel, if that makes sense. There’s decent soundproofing too – I was worried about street noise at first, but even with windows open at night, it stayed pretty quiet. Though I will say the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty in some units, so if you’re planning to work from there, maybe mention it when you check in.

What really sold me on the place was how the staff actually seemed to care about the details. Check-in was smooth (they had my room ready early without me even asking), and when I mentioned I was trying to find this specific local restaurant, the front desk guy didn’t just point me toward the touristy stuff – he gave me actual directions to places where locals eat. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and they stock the apartments with quality basics, not the usual cheap hotel toiletries. I stayed there during what turned out to be a pretty busy week in the area, and while I could tell they were full, it never felt chaotic or understaffed. The 8.6 rating actually feels about right – it’s not perfect, but it delivers on what it promises without any major disappointments. If you’re the type who likes having your own space but still wants hotel-level service when you need it, this place hits that sweet spot really well.

  The stay was very comfy and nice. Apartment was clean, view (from apartment 253) straight to the see, location very close to the old town. Sadly at my vacation time the pool area was already closed, but despite that would definitely recommend this place.

  Clean well equipped apartment. Spectacular view from the balcony. Enjoyed many beers on the balcony after a night out. Excellent pool with superb views and beer available too.

  Great location close to the beach and amenities. Very clean and spacious. Housekeeping came several times in the week we stayed. Fully functional kitchen with dishwasher and all equipment. Lovely view of the mountains and side sea view. Roof top swimming pool was fabulous and quiet for relaxing. WiFi was great!

  Lux apartment located in modern building near the beach area of Budva. Our apartment have all necessary equipment including household appliances (dishwasher, washing machine), tableware and cooking equipment. Staff change towels every two days and bedclothes every week. Outdoor swimming pool with chaise lounge area located in the roof of the nearby building, it's small, but comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
  Location is great: beach area, old city and various restaurants are nearby.
  
  What could be improved: The price for accommodation is high.

  What could be improved: Few minor niggles – for an apartment that size (I think it slept 6) limited crockery, dishwasher not maintained and plugs difficult to work. But minor.

  We really liked the apartment and the location was perfect.
  
  What could be improved: The only bad point was the constant music all day and night meant you couldn’t have a relaxing time. The constant thump of music made it very difficult to sleep. This wasn’t down to the apartments it was the surrounding places. Totally unacceptable to have it so loud.
