Lux Pržno View Penthouse

You know what caught me off guard about the Lux Pržno View Penthouse? It’s actually perched up on this hillside spot in Podličak where you get these sweeping views over Pržno Bay, but somehow it doesn’t feel touristy or overdone. I mean, with a 9.1 rating you expect something good, but this place has that rare thing where the photos actually undersell it.

The penthouse sits in this residential area that’s maybe a 7-8 minute walk down to Pržno beach – and honestly, that little stroll is perfect because you’re far enough from the beach crowds but close enough that you can easily pop down for a swim or dinner at one of those seafood places right on the sand. The local bus to Budva’s old town stops pretty close by too, which is handy since parking in Budva proper is… well, let’s just say it’s an adventure. What really got me though was how quiet it gets up there in the evenings. You’re close to everything but when you’re on that terrace with a glass of wine, watching the sunset paint the Adriatic all orange and pink, the only sounds are maybe some distant music from the beach bars and the occasional scooter puttering up the hill.

The apartment itself feels properly luxurious without being stuffy – think modern furnishings that actually look good rather than just expensive, a kitchen that’s equipped enough for real cooking (rare in vacation rentals), and air conditioning that works properly, which you’ll definitely appreciate in July and August. The bedroom setup works well for couples or small families, and there’s enough space that you don’t feel like you’re living in each other’s pockets. I particularly loved the bathroom – great shower pressure and these big fluffy towels that felt more boutique hotel than apartment rental. The WiFi was solid too, which matters if you’re trying to work remotely or just want to post those sunset photos without waiting forever. Check-in was smooth, and the host clearly knows the area well – they gave us some great restaurant recommendations in nearby Sveti Stefan that we never would’ve found otherwise. My only tiny complaint? The walk back up from the beach can be a bit steep after a long day in the sun, but honestly, that’s what keeps this area from being overrun with tourists. For what you get – that view, the space, the location between Budva and Sveti Stefan – this place delivers on the promise of Montenegro’s coast without the crowds you’ll find closer to Budva’s main beaches.
