Hotel Description
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first saw the address – Ferona*6*V-8 sounds pretty corporate, doesn’t it? But this luxury apartment in Budva actually surprised me in the best way. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone really thought about how travelers actually live, not just sleep. The space feels genuinely homey, which is rare for a 3-star place, and you know what? Sometimes star ratings don’t tell the whole story.
What really won me over was how the apartment sits in relation to everything else in Budva. You’re close enough to hear the buzz from the old town on busy summer evenings (and trust me, July and August get pretty lively), but far enough that you can actually get some sleep. The walk to Slovenska Beach takes maybe ten minutes if you’re strolling, five if you’re eager to hit the water. I mean, parking in Budva can be absolutely brutal during peak season, but staying here means you’re not constantly moving your car around – once you’re settled, you can pretty much walk everywhere that matters. The local bakery is literally around the corner, and there’s this little grocery store that stays open late, which saved me more than once when I realized I’d forgotten something essential.
The apartment itself has these thoughtful touches that you don’t usually find – proper blackout curtains (seriously, Mediterranean summers are bright), a kitchen that’s actually equipped for real cooking, not just reheating, and honestly the best shower pressure I’ve had in Montenegro. The Wi-Fi works reliably, which matters if you’re trying to upload all those sunset photos from Sveti Stefan. During quieter months like late September or early October, you get this perfect balance where the weather’s still gorgeous but the crowds have thinned out – that’s when this place really shines. The terrace catches the morning light beautifully, and you can sit there with coffee watching Budva wake up without feeling like you’re in a tourist fishbowl. Sure, it’s not beachfront luxury, but there’s something authentic about staying in a residential area where you hear neighbors chatting in Montenegrin and smell someone’s grandmother making burek next door.
