You know what struck me first about Luxury Apartment Valentina? The name actually fits – and I mean that as someone who’s stayed in plenty of places that call themselves “luxury” but deliver worn towels and broken WiFi. This place sits right on Mediteranska street, which honestly couldn’t be better positioned if you tried. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Budva’s old town walls, but far enough back that you won’t hear drunk tourists singing at 3 AM (trust me on this one).

The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish cousin let you crash at their place – everything’s thoughtfully chosen without being stuffy. The kitchen actually has proper knives and decent coffee cups, not the plastic nonsense you usually get. What really sold me was stepping onto that balcony in the morning with my coffee and realizing I could see slivers of the Adriatic between the buildings. The owner, Valentina I assume, has this thing figured out – the AC works perfectly (crucial in July), there’s blackout curtains for afternoon naps, and she’s stocked quality linens that don’t feel like sandpaper. I stayed during peak season and honestly expected more noise, but the building’s solid and the windows do their job.

Here’s what nobody tells you about this part of Budva – you’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters, but you’re not trapped in the tourist madness. That little bakery around the corner on Jadranski put opens early and their burek is ridiculous. The beach is maybe five minutes if you walk fast, ten if you’re carrying all your stuff and stopping to buy water. Parking can be tricky in summer (like everywhere in Montenegro), but there’s usually spots if you’re willing to walk a block or two. The 9.7 rating makes sense once you’ve been there – it’s the kind of place where everything just works, and you find yourself thinking “okay, I could actually live like this for a while.” The shower pressure’s great, the WiFi never dropped, and when I had a question about late checkout, Valentina responded within like twenty minutes. Sometimes you get lucky and find a place that’s exactly what it promises to be.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Budva at least two months ahead for major events like Sea Dance Festival, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near the beach.

  The apartment itself was a very comfortable with a large balcony, cozy room, decent bathroom, and nice kitchen with all appliances. The location, was right in the center of Budva; everything was a walking distance away. The landlord, was really lovely, provided with a lot of useful information and pretty much sorted out everything we asked for.

  Es war alles vorhanden von Waschmaschine bis Bügeleisen /Brett . Küche voll ausgestattet von Herd bis Mikrowelle usw.

  What could be improved: Es war ziemlich dreckig, die Wohnung wurde nicht gesaugt vorher, auf dem Boden hatte es vermehrt Haare und auch das Wc war nicht sauber. Alle Spiegel / Fenster waren schmierig / fettig.
