Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about Luxury Sea View Apartments Rafailovici? The name actually undersells it. I mean, sure, it’s got those sea views everyone talks about, but honestly – the whole vibe here feels more like staying at a friend’s really nice place than some sterile hotel complex. The apartments are spacious in that way where you can actually spread out your stuff without tripping over your suitcase every five minutes, and the balconies… well, let’s just say I spent way more time out there with my morning coffee than I’d planned.

Rafailovici itself is this sweet spot between Budva’s party madness and the quieter stretches of coast – you’re close enough to walk to Kamenovo Beach when you want that postcard-perfect scene, but far enough from the main strip that you’re not dealing with drunk teenagers at 3 AM. The apartments sit right where you can see the whole sweep of the bay, and honestly, that 8.5 rating makes sense when you’re watching the sun come up over the water. What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to actually know the area – not just the tourist spots, but where to grab decent groceries, which beach bars don’t overcharge, that sort of thing. The whole setup feels more residential than touristy, if that makes sense.

Here’s the thing though – and maybe this is just me being picky – the WiFi can be a bit spotty in some of the rooms (fine for scrolling Instagram, less great for video calls), and parking can get tight during peak season. But you’re trading those minor hassles for something that feels authentically Montenegrin rather than cookie-cutter resort. The building itself has that newer construction feel without being overly flashy, and the kitchenettes actually work properly, which… trust me, isn’t always a given in this part of the world. I found myself cooking simple breakfasts most mornings because there’s something about eating fresh tomatoes and local cheese while looking out at the Adriatic that just hits different than another hotel buffet. If you’re the type who likes having your own space but still wants to feel connected to the place you’re visiting, this spot gets the balance right.

  View is incredible, overlooking the beach and the bay. St. Stefan and Kamenovo are located to the left, while Bečići and Budva are on the right.
  
  Isidora, Jadranka, cleaning ladies…all were super friendly and helpful, we felt really welcome. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, we will definitely go back and relive Rafailovići

  Amazing location, the view is everything you could want and more! Apartment was lovely, clean and plenty of room. The balcony is perfect. The host Jadranka was so helpful. Would come back again.
  
  What could be improved: Would be nice to have a few more necessities like salt, sugar and foil maybe but it wasn’t a big deal.
  The building is unfinished so hard to get to the foyer where the lifts are from the car park with lots of luggage but again, not a big deal as the apartment is absolutely gorgeous!

  A very nice room and living room apartment, excellent location on the first line promenade to the sea, a stunning view, a large shower and two separate toilets, a large balcony with a table and four chairs, also inside the apartment there is a dining table and chairs, two sofas that open in the living room, a kitchen with minimal equipment. Covered private parking. We had a great time.
  
  What could be improved: The bedroom has no door, the kitchen has minimal equipment, there are two elevators, one didn't work for two days, luckily the apartment is on the first floor. The whole basket is worth the money and I would go back there one more time.
