The rooms themselves are honestly what sold me on the place. They’ve got this lived-in quality without feeling worn down, if that makes sense. The kitchenettes are properly equipped (I’m talking real knives that actually cut things, not those sad hotel butter knives), and there’s enough counter space to spread out if you’re the type who likes to grab groceries and cook a bit while traveling. The beds are surprisingly solid – I sleep terribly in most hotels, but I actually got decent rest here. What really impressed me though was the attention to sound. You know how apartment-style places can be echo chambers? Someone clearly thought about that here because even when I could tell the place was full, it stayed pretty quiet. Speaking of which – the location really works. You’re close enough to feel connected to things without being right in the middle of tourist chaos. I found myself walking to dinner most nights, which is always a good sign. The parking situation is straightforward too, which honestly matters more than people admit when they’re traveling. It’s that kind of place where you can tell they’ve worked out the little friction points that make or break a stay. Four stars feels about right – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but what it does, it does really well.
