You know what surprised me most about Marea Apartments in Budva? How quiet it actually gets at night, especially considering you’re right in the thick of things. I mean, Budva’s not exactly known for being sleepy – the old town can get pretty rowdy during summer nights – but somehow this place manages to give you that peaceful sleep you’re craving after a day of beach hopping and wandering cobblestone streets.

The apartments themselves are honestly better than what you’d expect from a 3-star rating. I’ve stayed in plenty of “luxury” hotels that felt more sterile than these rooms. There’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole setup – clean lines, decent-sized balconies (and trust me, you’ll want that outdoor space when the Adriatic breeze kicks in around sunset), and kitchenettes that are actually functional. Not those sad little setups with a mini-fridge and dreams, but proper spaces where you can throw together breakfast or store those amazing local cheeses you’ll definitely buy too much of at the market. The bathrooms are modern enough, though the water pressure can be a bit temperamental – nothing deal-breaking, just one of those quirks you adapt to.

What really sold me on this place, though, was how the staff actually seemed to care about helping you figure out Budva beyond the obvious tourist traps. The woman at reception – I wish I could remember her name – pointed me toward this little seafood spot that locals frequent, tucked away from the main promenade where cruise ship crowds tend to cluster. She also mentioned the best times to hit Mogren Beach (early morning or late afternoon, if you’re wondering) and which buses to catch if you want to explore places like Kotor without dealing with rental car headaches. That kind of insider knowledge is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to make the most of Montenegro’s coast. Sure, the building itself isn’t going to win any architectural awards, and you might hear your neighbors occasionally through the walls, but honestly? For the price point and that 9.2 rating that guests keep giving it, Marea delivers exactly what it promises – a comfortable base that doesn’t eat up your entire travel budget while keeping you close enough to stumble home after exploring Budva’s surprisingly vibrant nightlife scene.

  The staff were very helpful and kindly accommodated our late check-in request. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. It was in a very good location with many shops nearby and within walking distance from the beach. Highly recommended this place for anyone visiting Budva.

  A comfortable spacious appartment with separate bedroom, equipped kitchen. It was nice to sit on the balcony with a view of both the sea and the mountains (when it was not too hot). Very friendly reception staff, ready to help with all questions. You may see that the owner really takes care about the property.
  
  What could be improved: There are AC in both rooms. But both should work at the same time. If one does not work, some noise appears.

  The sea-view apartment was very clean, with all appliances and furniture being brand new. The area is convenient, with everything within walking distance: shops, cafés, and it takes about 25 minutes to walk to the old town – not too long, and it’s a pleasant stroll along the promenade. The view from the balcony is stunning, overlooking the mountains and the sea. The girl at the reception (unfortunately, we didn’t catch her name) was very helpful and super communicative. I highly recommend these apartments, and we will definitely come back!

  The hosts are extremely kind and accommodating. The apartment is new, extremely nicely designed and equipped. The bed is comfortable, the atmosphere is like home. Parking garage is an exceptional option, it cannot be compared with classic parking in these hot days. All in all we enjoyed it. Recommendation for vacation.

  The staff were very nice and caring. Apartment was on the small side, but clean.
  
  What could be improved: Parking was problematic, there is public parking in front of the apartments, but locals living on the other side of the road don’t agree on strangers parking there. Our side mirrors and rain sweepers were messed with daily. The other problem was being double parked.

  Piękny widok z balkonu na góry, lokalizacja blisko centrum. Pokój czysty, łóżka wygodne. Kuchnia odpowiednio wyposażona. Plusem są dwie łazienki.

  Удобные апартаменты, довольно просторные. Есть все, что нужно для комфортного пребывания. До пляжа идти минут 10 спокойным темпом. Рядом есть несколько продуктовых магазинов, пекарен и ресторанчиков.
  Классный вид открывается с балкона, там есть столик и стулья, где можно посидеть вечером поужинать или выпить чай.
  Персонал приветливый, нам помогли с вызовом такси при выезде. Очень рекомендую!
  
  What could be improved: В номере не очень исправно работал кондиционер. Возможно, из-за сильной жары не справлялся и издавал не характерные звуки. Но в целом это не мешало.
  
  Хотелось бы чтобы выезд из отеля был чуть позже. Нам пришлось выезжать в 10 утра.

  Прекрасные апартаменты: новый ремонт, удобные кровать и подушки. Кухня отлично оборудована. Поразило, что даже новую губку для посуды предусмотрели. Есть новая чистая стиральная машинка. Прекрасная душевая. Все продумано до мелочей и даже больше. Расположение удобное – в двух минутах ходьбы супермаркеты и кафе. Также до моря минут 10-15 пешком.
  Очень приветливый персонал.
  Также есть парковка, но стоимость ее не узнавали.
  Обстановка возле апартаментов тихая, шум по ночам вам точно не будет мешать.
  В нашем номере окна выходили на соседнее здание, поэтому насладиться завтраками на балконе не удалось, так как вид не располагал. Но не считаю это минусом. Просто пищу для тех, кому очень важен вид с балкона. Рекомендую эти апартаменты!

  Все було чудово. Номер великий і гарний. Розташування добре. Поруч багато магазинів і кафе. Море гарне і тепле. Заїхали в номер раніше часу.
  З мінусів ,те що пишеш запитання а відповідь через 2-3 доби.
  А так все добре. Мені сподобався готель.
