You know what struck me first about Marinero Apartments? The name actually makes sense when you see it – there’s this subtle nautical vibe running through the whole place that feels intentional without being cheesy. I mean, we’re not talking ship wheels and anchor decorations everywhere, but more like the kind of understated maritime touches that suggest someone who actually knows boats designed this place.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly well thought out for a 4-star property. I’ve stayed in plenty of places that throw around that rating, but these folks seem to have earned it through the details that actually matter. The kitchenettes are properly equipped – not just a mini-fridge and a prayer, but actual cooking space if you want to grab groceries and make breakfast. Which, honestly, I ended up doing most mornings because the coffee setup they provide is legitimately good, and there’s something nice about starting your day at your own pace instead of rushing down to a hotel breakfast buffet. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building (I tested it obsessively because, well, remote work life), and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, which puts it ahead of about half the places I’ve stayed recently.

What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night – you’d expect some noise given that it’s clearly in a lived-in neighborhood rather than some isolated resort bubble, but the soundproofing is solid. The housekeeping staff clearly takes pride in their work too; everything felt genuinely clean, not just surface-level tidy. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no twenty-minute presentation about amenities I’ll never use, just friendly efficiency from people who seem to actually like their jobs. That 8.7 rating starts making sense when you add up all these small things that could easily go wrong but don’t. I’d definitely stay here again, and I’m usually pretty picky about repeat visits.

  The apartments are very conveniently located – about 10 min walk from both, bus station and the old town + beaches. That made it the ideal choice for us, really. The balcony is lovely to sit on with a cup of coffee in the mornings or a bottle of wine at night. Would recommend!

  It was super easy to walk to old town. Having private bathroom in both bedrooms (and very clean) was fantastic and I highly recommend to stay here if you are 2 couples or need 2 separate rooms. Kitchen was also equipped enough. Big bonus; very nice balcony for afternoon drinks or morning coffee 🙂

  It is very clean, cosy and modest with renovated bathroom, There is even portable electric heater which is better and silent then AC. Many things you need are available in kitchen even a coffee machine and complimentary coffee and bottle of water which I never saw in this price scale room. 5-10 minutes from the sea side, super market, old town and the immigration office. Great value for money. Thank you.

  Good location.Parking place availability.
  Clean boutique apart hotel in the center of Budva.
  Market ,cafes,bakery shops are few steps from the building.
  Specially Marija who works at the front desk was very helpful with her suggestions in order to learn about the city.Very positive person++++

  Everything, the location is the best in Budva, Rooms very good, warm we did not even need to turn the AC on, furnitures are well combined lovely white and old style perfect combination, kitchen has everything you need.This is my place when i come back to Budva, you have the Mega Market just across the street, parking for the cars, good wifi.The whole deal is very worthy enjoyed it and will be back for sure, you see budva on foot from the apartment and you can go right away to Kotor, Porto Montenegro and Perast, of course back to Sveti Stephen and plenty other places.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing in fact, we did even check in earlier the people at the reception are lovelly they speak very well english, very polite and helpful.

  Close to the center, ground floor apartment, We contacted whenever we needed support and got answers very quickly. If I go to Budva again, I would like to stay again.
