Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Marinovic Apartments – you know how apartment-style places can be hit or miss. But this little three-star gem actually surprised me in all the right ways. The building itself has that solid, unpretentious feel that screams “locals know about this place,” and after spending a few nights there, I can see why it’s got an 8.0 rating.
What really won me over was how the staff just… gets it. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no fake smiles or corporate script, just genuine helpfulness from people who clearly take pride in the place. The apartments themselves are exactly what you’d want: clean, functional, with those little touches that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. I mean, there’s proper counter space in the kitchenette (revolutionary concept, right?), decent water pressure in the shower, and – this might sound small but trust me – the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the entire unit. The furnishings aren’t fancy, but they’re comfortable and well-maintained, sort of like staying in a friend’s well-organized spare room.
The neighborhood vibe is probably my favorite thing about staying here. During the day, you’ll hear the gentle hum of local life – people heading to work, kids playing nearby – but it settles into this peaceful quiet by evening that’s perfect for actually getting some rest. I walked around quite a bit (the area’s really walkable), and you can tell this is where people actually live, not just where tourists get shuttled through. There’s something refreshing about grabbing coffee from the local spot down the street instead of some generic hotel lobby café. Parking was surprisingly painless too – not always guaranteed in apartment-style places, but they’ve got it sorted. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury amenities or Instagram-worthy lobbies, but if you want a solid, honest place to stay where you can spread out a bit and feel like a temporary local rather than a tourist, Marinovic Apartments delivers exactly that. Sometimes that’s worth more than all the fancy extras.

We loved the location of the appartment, it was very clean and the host Mr. Marinovic was super nice and great company.
He helped us to go to the city and where should we go, he aslo helped us in renting a car to be able to move around easily.
In short it was great and huge pleasure to stay there and most certainly will come back in the same place and will definitely recommend to anyone going to Budva.
Amazing spot with an incredible view of the beach and surrounding landscape. Facilities were great and it was a nice quiet area for us in an evening.

Vlasnici apartmana su divni ljudi. Apartman je uredan i čist, sa divnim pogledom. Da lokacija i prilaz nisu onakvi kakvi jesu ocena bi bila 10.
What could be improved: Lokacija na kojoj se apartman nalazi je jedini razlog zašto je ne bih preporučila nikom. Kao neko ko je "nov, ne baš iskusan vozač" , ja ne bih nikom preporučila ona brda i prilaze. Nažalost.
Ali s obzirom da je cena aparmana među jeftinijima, i to razumem.
Дом расположен вдали от основной тусовки, на самой вершине холма, из окон потрясающий вид на море.
Но есть одна или две комнаты, которые выходят балконом на противоположную сторону, а там видно только парковку и соседний дом (нам досталась как раз такая). Еще в одной из комнат с красивым видом нет санузла в самой комнате, он расположен в коридоре, имейте ввиду.
Без машины в этих апартаментах делать нечего, слишком высоко и далеко от всего. На машине было комфортно.
Мебель и техника в номере древние, но по соотношению цена/качество этот вариант самое то.
The house is located on the top of the hill far from noise and croud. Beautiful view from the terraces. But there is one or two rooms with no view (looking to the opposite side of the house to the parking and neighbour house). Also one of the rooms with the view has no bath amenities, bath located on the hall.
This house is comfortable for car and moto tourists, others have to prepare their legs and lungs.
The room amenities are old, but value for money
The apartment is located in beautiful and quiet area. The view from terrace is amazing. The owners are very nice and helpful people.

What could be improved: Very basic /old amenities, some odd cables are hanging out of the wall dont look very safe. The boiler didnt work on the first day and we were not told that there was a shared bathroom just next door luckily we found it which was a lifesaver after a 12 hour journey to the property. The boiler was fixed by the end of the daybut we continued using the other bathroom the next day for which the owner told us off in a very insulting/rude way. Also, we had 1.5 roll of toiletpaper for the whole week.
A szállás egy dombtetőn található, 2-3 km-re Budvától. Ha autóval megy az ember, a legkiválóbb választás. Csodálatos kilátás a tengerre. Távol a város nyüzsgésétől. Autó nélkül viszont nehéz lett volna.

What could be improved: Nagyon nehéz feljutni az úton az apartmanhoz és városon kívűl van. Meleg víz nem volt 1 este
Дуже зручний номер з неймовірним видом на море, велика тераса, наявні всі зручності. Крім того, господар помешкання кілька разів підвіз нас до Будви. Це було дуже мило з його боку!)
What could be improved: Якщо ви подорожуєте не на машині, будьте готові до виснажливих спусків і підйомів.
