You know what caught me off guard about Merlin Prestige Apartments? The name makes it sound way fancier than it actually is – and I mean that in the best possible way. When I first walked in, I was expecting some stuffy boutique place, but it’s actually got this really comfortable, lived-in feel that just works. It’s officially a 3-star property, but honestly, whoever’s running this place clearly cares more about the experience than the star rating suggests.

The apartments themselves are what really sold me on this place. I mean, you’re getting actual living space here – not just a hotel room with a tiny desk shoved in the corner. The kitchen isn’t just for show either; it’s got everything you’d actually use if you wanted to grab groceries and cook a proper meal. The beds are surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about this stuff), and the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the unit, which seems basic but you’d be amazed how many places mess this up. What I really appreciated were the little touches – decent coffee in the kitchen, blackout curtains that actually block light, and bathroom amenities that don’t smell like industrial disinfectant.

The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed guest suite than a traditional hotel, which explains that 9.5 rating. The staff knows what they’re doing without being overly formal about it – check-in was smooth, and when I had a question about the area, they gave me actual local recommendations instead of just pointing to tourist traps. The building itself is quiet; I never heard neighbors, and the street noise was minimal even with the windows open. Parking was straightforward too, which isn’t always a given. Look, it’s not going to blow you away with marble lobbies or infinity pools, but if you want a comfortable base where you can actually spread out and feel settled – especially for longer stays – this place gets it right. The value here is solid, particularly when you factor in having a proper kitchen and living area instead of being cramped in a standard hotel room.

  The house was clean and new. We were satisfied. The landlord was helpful. Only the house is located on a hill, this should be taken into consideration.

  It’s a very modern and clean building. Location is a 15 minute walk from the Old Town and the owner is a really nice guy who’s always responding.
  
  What could be improved: The parking is a little bit of an issue. Also had a few nails sticking out from the bed frame and bathroom door lock wasn’t working, but I’d trust in the owner to get these things sorted 🙂

  Brand new building with super modern apartments. The key was waiting for us in the door along with the fruit platter. Spectacular view of Budva, a bit uphill, very close to downtown and city attractions. Lots of stores and food corners nearby. The host very accommodating and friendly.
  
  What could be improved: We are a group of 3 teenagers who travelled for fun. To reach the apartment on foot you need to climb the stairs which some elderly people may not like.

  I recently had the pleasure of staying at Merlin Prestige Apartments in Budva, Montenegro, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.

  The view from the apartment was excellent, providing a picturesque scene to wake up to every morning. It is conveniently located just a 10-15 minute walk from Old Town Budva, making it easy to explore the historic area while still enjoying a peaceful retreat.

  The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly stood out.
  
  Overall, I highly recommend Merlin Prestige Apartments for anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Budva. It exceeded all my expectations in every aspect.
