Walking up to this building on Trg Slobode 6, I was expecting something pretty standard for a 3-star place in Budva, but there’s actually something really charming about its position right on the square. I mean, you’re literally steps from the main action – and I’m talking like 30 seconds to those narrow cobblestone streets that lead into the Old Town. The morning I checked in, there was this gentle buzz of locals heading to work mixed with early tourists already snapping photos, which honestly gave me that “real Montenegro” feeling you don’t always get in the more touristy spots.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at someone’s well-kept place rather than a sterile hotel room. The furnishings aren’t fancy – we’re talking functional but comfortable – though I appreciated little touches like decent lighting for reading and a kitchenette that actually has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the market down the street. What really works here is the location’s sweet spot factor. You’re close enough to walk to Slovenska Beach in about eight minutes (I timed it), but when those summer crowds get overwhelming, you can duck back to the square and find quieter café spots where locals hang out. Parking was… well, let’s just say it’s Budva in summer, so don’t expect miracles, but there are options within a few blocks if you’re patient.

Here’s the thing about this place – it delivers on what it promises without trying to be something it’s not. The 7.7 rating feels about right; it’s solid, dependable, and the staff actually knows the neighborhood. When I asked about catching the bus to Kotor, the person at reception didn’t just hand me a generic map but told me exactly which corner to wait on and warned me about the afternoon rush. That kind of local knowledge is worth something. Sure, you might hear some street noise if you’re a super light sleeper (it’s a central square, after all), but honestly, I found the sounds of Budva waking up pretty charming. If you’re looking for a place that puts you right in the mix without breaking the bank – and you don’t need a pool or room service – Mia Apartment does exactly what you’d want it to do.

  Close to old town
  Managed to get a free parking place, otherwise it would be impossible – we did not even dare to move our car 🙂

  What could be improved: It was not clean enough, we had to clean the filter from old hair in the shower because the water could not go down otherwise

  La struttura esternamente non dice nulla ma una volta entrata devo dire che sono stata favorevolmente sorpresa. Ambiente luminoso e accogliente. L’appartamento era ben pulito. La posizione è favolosa. A due passi da tutto.

  Были семьёй из 5 человек и 2 детей, все поместились комфортно.Квартира находится в хорошем месте,есть простор в окнах,красивый вид на пальмы и даже кусочек моря,до него пешком 10 мин.Магазинчики и всё необходимое рядом. До старого города и Цитадели 20 мин по набережной. Место прекрасное! Сама квартира чистая и светлая,спальные места комфортные,пастель белая.Хозяйка очень приветливая и гостеприимная. Есть минимальный набор посуды и электр.чайник,можно готовить.
  
  What could be improved: Единственное чего нам вот прям очень не хватило -это полки или какой то шкаф. Все вещи перебирали прямо на полу в раскрытых чемоданах, в итоге за несколько дней это превратилось в одну общую груду вещей:),в ванной нет ни одного крючка.Это конечно,нюансы…но они тоже создают комфорт и порядок.
