You know what surprised me most about Mik Apartments? The moment I walked in, it felt like someone actually lives there – and I mean that in the best way possible. These aren’t your typical sterile hotel rooms with generic artwork and that weird chemical smell. The place has personality, which honestly is pretty rare for a 3-star spot in Budva’s old town area.

The location is what really sold me, though. You’re literally in the heart of everything – I could stumble back from the waterfront restaurants in about three minutes, maybe five if I stopped to grab burek from that little bakery everyone raves about. And here’s the thing about Budva that nobody tells you: the old town gets pretty intense with tourists during peak season, but somehow this place feels tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant street noise. I mean, you’ll still hear some nightlife sounds – it’s Budva, after all – but it’s not like you’re sleeping above a club or anything. The apartment setup means you get a proper kitchen too, which saved me a fortune since eating out for every meal in Montenegro adds up fast. I actually enjoyed making coffee in the morning and just watching the neighborhood wake up from the window.

What really impressed me was how well-maintained everything was. Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of “apartments” that are basically just hotel rooms with a mini-fridge thrown in, but this felt different. The bathroom was spotless, the Wi-Fi actually worked (crucial for someone like me who needs to stay connected), and honestly, the bed was more comfortable than what I have at home. The check-in process was smooth too – none of that awkward waiting around in a tiny lobby situation. I can see why this place has such a high rating, because it’s one of those spots where all the little details just work. You’re close enough to walk to Mogren Beach when you want to escape the crowds at the main beaches, but you can also hit up the restaurants along the marina without needing a taxi. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re staying somewhere locals might actually recommend to their friends, not just another tourist trap with inflated prices and zero charm.

  Абсолютно все понравилось. Великолепное расположение. Центр, но тихая улочка. Близко до всего, до старого города, набережная рядом, минут 7-10 пешком. Пляжи на выбор, и с платными лежаками и дикие. Рядом также ТЦ, аптека, магазины, кафешки. Квартира хорошая, кровать удобная. Хозяева чудесные. Единственный нюанс – нет балкона. Но окно открывается на всю ширину. 4 этаж, но в доме лифт. Мне все очень понравилось. С удовольствием вернулась бы еще!
