You know what struck me first about Mik Apartments? The location is absolutely perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without paying those crazy Old Town prices. I mean, Vojvođanska street puts you literally a three-minute walk from all the main action – you can hear the buzz from the cafes and restaurants, but honestly, it’s not so loud that you can’t sleep at night.

The apartment itself is compact but really well thought out – 40 square meters that actually feels bigger than it sounds because they’ve used every inch smartly. The kitchenette has everything you need (I made coffee every morning and even cooked pasta one night), and there’s this nice little balcony where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch Budva wake up. The Wi-Fi is solid, which matters if you’re trying to upload those beach photos or need to check in with work. What really impressed me was how clean everything was – I’ve stayed in plenty of places where “recently renovated” means they just slapped some paint on the walls, but this felt genuinely fresh. The shower has good pressure too, which after a day at the beach is basically heaven.

The neighborhood vibe is what really sells this place though. You’re close enough to walk to Slovenska Plaža in about seven minutes (I timed it), and there’s this little bakery around the corner where locals actually go – not just tourists. The lady there doesn’t speak much English, but she’ll hook you up with the best burek you’ll have in Montenegro. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak summer months – there’s street parking, but you might end up walking a few blocks if you arrive late in the day. Check-in was smooth, the owner speaks decent English and actually gave me some solid recommendations for restaurants that weren’t in my guidebook. One thing to know is that Budva gets pretty lively in July and August, so if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack some earplugs. But honestly, that energy is part of what makes staying here fun – you feel connected to the real rhythm of the city. For the price point and that 9 rating (which I totally get), this place delivers exactly what it promises without any fancy nonsense you don’t need.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Budva at least two months ahead for major events like Sea Dance Festival, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near the beach.

  Абсолютно все понравилось. Великолепное расположение. Центр, но тихая улочка. Близко до всего, до старого города, набережная рядом, минут 7-10 пешком. Пляжи на выбор, и с платными лежаками и дикие. Рядом также ТЦ, аптека, магазины, кафешки. Квартира хорошая, кровать удобная. Хозяева чудесные. Единственный нюанс – нет балкона. Но окно открывается на всю ширину. 4 этаж, но в доме лифт. Мне все очень понравилось. С удовольствием вернулась бы еще!

  Отличное местоположение, недалеко до моря, кафе, супермаркетов. Хозяин встретил поздно. Есть все по технике и на кухне.
  
  What could be improved: Квартира была очень прокурена, воняло сигаретами. Мне как некурящему было очень неприятно. Также был невыносимый запах прегара и рвоты. Пришлось спать с открытыми окнами. Водонагреватель плохо греет воду, приходилось мыться почти в прохладной воде. Нет ни геля для душа, ни шампуня. В душе воняет канализацией и грибок в душевой кабине. В кровати была жевательная резинка, которая прилипла к моим волосам. Холодильник тоже имеет специфический запах. Квартира хорошая, но требует более тщательной уборки.
