Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Mila & Aleksandr Apartments, I wasn’t expecting much. The name sounds like it could be your neighbors down the hall, you know? But actually staying there completely changed my perspective on what a 4-star place can feel like when it’s done right.

The thing that hit me immediately was how these aren’t your typical cookie-cutter hotel rooms. Each apartment has this lived-in quality that somehow manages to feel both homey and polished – I mean, you can tell someone actually thought about how people live, not just how they sleep for a night. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show either; they’re properly equipped, which honestly saved me a fortune on breakfast and late-night snacks. The owners (I’m assuming Mila and Aleksandr, though I never met them) clearly know that travelers want options. Sometimes you want to grab coffee from that little place around the corner, and sometimes you just want to make toast in your pajamas without judgment.

What really won me over was the attention to details you don’t usually notice until they’re missing. The WiFi actually works – like, properly works, not that frustrating hotel internet that cuts out every time you try to video call home. The beds are firm enough that you don’t wake up feeling like you slept in a hammock, and there’s enough storage space that you can actually unpack if you’re staying more than a couple nights. I also loved that the windows open properly – sounds silly, but after staying in so many places with those tiny hotel windows that barely crack, being able to get some real fresh air was pretty great. The neighborhood gets quiet at night too, which wasn’t something I expected but definitely appreciated after some long days of sightseeing.

The 8.0 rating makes total sense to me now. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it nails all the stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling. Check-in was straightforward, the place was spotless, and honestly, it felt more like borrowing a friend’s apartment than staying in a hotel. That’s either exactly what you want or completely not your vibe – but if you’re the type who likes having your own space and doing things at your own pace, this place gets it right.

  We had a great view of the sea. The staff were excellent and the studio apartment was very clean and nicely set up
  
  What could be improved: The only thing I didn't like was the size of the tv .Way too small .They need to double the size of the tv . I had a bigger tv in my caravan and when sitting on the bed you strain your eyes to see the wording

  it was an amazing stay, everyone was very warm and nice and the flat was better than we expected, the view was quite beautiful and it is in a good area to get to explore the town, close to the beach.

  Quiet area close to the sea, all necessary shops and cafes nearby. The room is clean. All necessary things for living are in the room. Good sound insulation
  
  What could be improved: The road from the beach goes uphill, but this is almost everywhere in Montenegro, so it is not a big problem

  Stayed for 4 days in March in a room overlooking the pool. The weather was rainy the whole time, but the stay was still great. The room was clean and comfy, and the staff was friendly. Would love to come back in better weather…
