You know what struck me first about Millennium Apartments Budva? It’s actually tucked away on Mainski put – this quieter street that most tourists completely miss because they’re all scrambling toward the Old Town chaos. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from Slovenska Plaza and all that beach madness, but when you come back to your room at night, it’s surprisingly peaceful. No drunk British stags stumbling past your window at 3 AM, which honestly was a relief after some of the horror stories I’d heard about staying right in the thick of things.

The apartments themselves feel more grown-up than your typical Budva accommodation – sort of like someone actually thought about how real people live rather than just cramming beds into boxes. The kitchenettes are properly functional (I actually cooked breakfast a few times, and the stovetop didn’t make me want to cry), and there’s decent counter space for your coffee situation. The balconies… well, depending on which side you get, you might catch glimpses of the water between buildings, but don’t expect sweeping Adriatic views. What you will get is that lovely Montenegrin evening breeze that makes sitting out there with a glass of local wine pretty perfect. The Wi-Fi actually works consistently – I know, shocking for the Balkans – and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a tractor starting up, which puts it ahead of half the places I’ve stayed in this region.

Here’s the thing about the location that the booking sites don’t tell you: you’re positioned perfectly for both beach life and real Budva exploration. Walk five minutes toward the water and you hit the main beaches and restaurant strip. But walk five minutes the other direction and you’re in residential neighborhoods where locals actually live, with those tiny grocery stores that sell amazing produce and cheese for practically nothing. The parking situation is… well, it’s Budva in summer, so it’s complicated, but there are spots nearby if you’re patient. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no drama, no hidden fees suddenly appearing, just keys and helpful directions to the nearest bakery (which you’ll definitely want to find because their burek is ridiculous). The 8.4 rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtfully done, clean, and actually comfortable for more than just sleeping. If you’re the type who wants a real base for exploring rather than just a party crash pad, this place gets it right.

  I stayed just for one night when travelling south and this place was perfect for that. The apartment was super clean and very newly renovated. Great air-con and a lovely little balcony. Comfy bed and a comforter was available in the closet. I arrived a bit late but the check-in process was easy even though there was no staff on-site to help. The address given at booking.com was not the correct one, but quick reply from the hosts!
  
  What could be improved: I would have loved a few more kitchen supplies. Also, the WiFi-box was out in the open which also ment that it lit u the room the entire night.

  New building, spacious apartment, reserved free parking, 15 minutes walk from the beach, easy to find, comfortable big bed.
  
  What could be improved: Although the room is spacious, it should have at least utensils, not just 2 glasses. For the time of our stay they had electricity problem and the electricity went down a couple of times. The floor had big stains like it wasn't moped.

  Excellent new hotel very nice big rooms with sofa and Tv , bed was exceptionally comfortable and a great size , nice fluffy towels as well .Host was very responsive when we had a hiccup checking in
  
  What could be improved: Nothing not too like it was clean but I think it had literally just been built and there was still a bit of builders dust on the floor which meant we dirtied the lovely new fresh white towels

  Building is really new, modern. Code doors so check-in is easy. Free parking and location is near to restaurants. A supermarket is just around the corner, 2 minutes walk.
  Old town is about 20 minutes walk, but nearby. You don’t need to drive there and pay parking.
  Beach next to Old town Budva is really nice.
  So location is definitely good.
  The fridge in the room was super cold!
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is really noisy. You hear people in other apartments walking and talking.
  The electricity was down for two times. Although solved within an hour, still annoying. No apologies given.
  Never met the host, all by app.
  No decoration in the room, really sober.
  No washing machine, no kitchen.
  You run out of hot water really fast, so the second person to take a shower has to be quick.
  There were two remote controls (tv and aircon), but only one set of batteries. Although host said she would bring new, she never did.
