Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Mitko Apartments – I mean, three stars usually means “decent enough but don’t get your hopes up,” right? But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you, and this little gem absolutely did that.

The thing about Mitko Apartments is that it feels like staying at your friend’s really well-put-together place rather than some sterile hotel room. The apartments themselves are spotless – and I’m talking about the kind of clean where you can tell someone actually cares, not just the housekeeping-went-through-the-motions kind. What really got me was the attention to small details that most places completely overlook. The kitchen actually has proper knives that cut things (revolutionary concept, I know), there’s enough counter space to spread out if you’re the type who likes to grab groceries and cook a bit, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously die every time you try to video call home. The beds are comfortable too – firm enough that you don’t feel like you’re sinking into quicksand, but soft enough that I actually slept better than I do at home most nights.

The location works really well if you want to feel like you’re living somewhere rather than just passing through. It’s tucked into a quieter area where you can actually hear yourself think, but you’re not stranded in the middle of nowhere either. Parking was surprisingly easy – none of that circling-the-block-seventeen-times nonsense you get in busier spots. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too; the staff knows what they’re doing and doesn’t make you feel like you’re inconveniencing them just by existing. What I really appreciated was how they seemed to genuinely want you to enjoy your stay rather than just get through the transaction. They had solid recommendations for local spots that weren’t the obvious tourist traps, which honestly made the whole trip better. The building itself has character without being run-down – you know, the kind of place that feels established but well-maintained. Morning coffee on the balcony became my daily ritual, and the neighborhood has this nice rhythm where it’s lively enough to feel alive but calm enough that you can actually relax. For a three-star place, it punches way above its weight class, and that 9.7 rating? Yeah, it’s earned.
