Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “MM Apartment,” I wasn’t expecting much. The name sounds pretty basic, right? But this place on Dositejeva Street completely surprised me, and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s tucked into this quiet residential area that’s maybe a seven-minute walk from Budva’s Old Town, which is actually perfect because you get the authentic neighborhood feel without being stuck in tourist central.

The thing about staying here is that you’re living like locals do. I loved walking down Dositejeva in the mornings – there’s this little bakery about two blocks down where you can grab fresh burek, and honestly, the smell of it baking hits you from like half a block away. The apartment itself feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in some sterile hotel room. Everything’s clean and well-maintained (I mean, that 9.8 rating isn’t an accident), but it has character, you know? The windows actually open properly – sounds silly, but you’d be amazed how many places skimp on that – and you get these nice cross-breezes in the evening when the Adriatic starts cooling things down.

What really won me over was the attention to small stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling. The Wi-Fi works everywhere, not just in one corner of the living room. There’s proper counter space in the kitchen if you want to make coffee or put together a quick breakfast. The shower has decent water pressure – again, little things that make a huge difference when you’re trying to rinse off after a day at the beach. And speaking of beaches, you’re close enough to walk to several different spots. Mogren Beach is probably fifteen minutes on foot, but I actually preferred the smaller rocky areas you can find if you head toward the peninsula. Less crowded, better for watching the sunset with a bottle of local wine.

The neighborhood gets quiet at night, which I appreciated after dealing with the party crowds down in the main tourist strips. You’ll hear some traffic during the day since Dositejeva connects to busier roads, but nothing that kept me awake. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re renting a car – street parking fills up pretty quickly during peak season – but there are usually spots if you’re willing to walk a few minutes. Check-in was straightforward, no drama, and the host actually gave me some solid recommendations for restaurants that weren’t just the obvious touristy places everyone hits.

I guess what I’m getting at is this: MM Apartment delivers exactly what you want from a good local stay without any pretense. It’s comfortable, the location works really well for exploring both Budva and the coastline, and you’re not paying resort prices for the privilege. If you’re the type who’d rather spend money on good meals and experiences instead of fancy hotel amenities you’ll barely use, this is your spot.

  Definitely recommend it! The apartment was clean and well-equipped with all the basic kitchen utensils, fresh towels, and cleaning supplies – everything you might need for a comfortable stay.
  
  The location is perfect – within walking distance to the city center, but still in a quiet area. It’s close to the beach, restaurants, the bus station, shops, and a bakery with fresh bread every morning – super convenient!

  It was amazing holiday. Apartment was perfect. Everything is thought out to the smallest details. Textiles, color combinations in design. Excellent location, 5-7 minutes to the embankment. One day it was raining and with great pleasure I just spent the whole day in the room, reading a book to the sound of the rain 🙂

  The apartment was very clean, it can be seen that it was recently renovated. There were a lot of dishes, enough towels, and even a beach umbrella, which helped us out a lot. The air conditioning worked great, there were a lot of outlets in the apartment, in general, the accommodation was super comfortable. I didn't pay attention to the lack of a washing machine in the apartment, but overall it wasn't a big problem. Of the amenities, everything was nearby, the market and the store were an 8-minute quiet walk away.
