Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Montesun Boka Apartments when I first pulled up – the name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, you know? But here’s the thing about this place: it’s one of those finds that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the guidebooks haven’t caught onto yet. The building itself has this understated elegance that’s become pretty rare these days, and I mean that in the best way possible. No flashy lobby trying too hard to impress, just solid, thoughtful design that actually works for people who are there to stay, not just take Instagram photos.

What really got me was how quiet it stays, even during what locals call the “busy months.” I’m someone who usually packs earplugs religiously, but honestly didn’t need them here. The apartments themselves – and they really feel like apartments, not hotel rooms pretending to be something else – have this lived-in quality that makes you want to stick around longer than planned. The kitchens actually function (revolutionary concept, right?), and there’s enough counter space to spread out your morning coffee situation without playing Tetris with your stuff. You’ll find little touches that show someone was thinking about real travelers: proper hangers in the closets, decent water pressure that doesn’t fluctuate when your neighbor takes a shower, outlets where you actually need them.

The area itself is sort of perfectly positioned – close enough to everything that matters but tucked away from the main tourist crush. I spent most mornings walking to this little bakery about three blocks over (the one with the green awning, locals will know), and it became this nice routine that made the whole stay feel less touristy. Parking wasn’t the nightmare I’d braced for, which honestly might be worth the stay alone if you’re driving. The staff runs things efficiently without being overly formal about it – they’ll point you toward the good restaurants without the usual tourist trap recommendations, and they’re pretty straight with you about timing for local events and such. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay if you can swing it, not because they’re pushing upgrades or extras, but because it just works well as a base for actually experiencing wherever you are rather than just passing through it.

  What could be improved: Apartment is full of dust, dirty floors, dishes also have traces of food from previous use, sofa in the living room is small and uncomfortable for sleeping, blankets and pillows have an unpleasant smell.

  What could be improved: Très bruyant et les voisins du logement juste,à côté furent très bruyants. L'absence de drap de dessus pour la nuit fût déplaisant. Enfin, le logement dispose de 2 adresses différentes et nous avons mis une heure pour trouver la,localisation du studio.

  La comodidad y limpieza del apartamento. Es muy bonito, de hecho se ve más grande que en las fotos. Tienen muy buen servicio al cliente y la oficina donde se recogen las llaves queda cerca del alojamiento, así que puedes pasar a preguntar si te surge alguna duda. Contraté con ellos la recogida al aeropuerto y fueron muy puntuales. Repetiré seguro.

  Прекрасное расположение, море рядом, вокруг есть продовольственные магазины, очень тихий район. Номера чистые и с новой мебелью. Есть вся необходимая техника в квартире. Если возникали вопросы, агенство решало моментально.

  What could be improved: czystość fatalna: włosy na pościeli (i to dużo włosów!!), pojemnik do suszenia naczyń tak brudny, że był na nim biały śliski nalot. Panie pracujące w biurze były niezbyt miłe.
