You know what hit me first about the Most Oliva Resort Budva? The way it sits just perfectly positioned where you can actually walk to everything that matters in Budva without being stuck right in the middle of all the summer chaos. I mean, this is Montenegro’s party coast we’re talking about – and honestly, finding that sweet spot between accessible and peaceful isn’t easy along this stretch.

The resort itself has this sort of contemporary Mediterranean vibe that doesn’t try too hard to be fancy, which I actually appreciated. Four stars feels about right – it’s polished and comfortable without the stuffiness you sometimes get at higher-end places. The 8.2 rating makes sense when you’re there; it’s the kind of place where most things work the way they should, the staff genuinely seems to care, and you’re not constantly dealing with little annoyances that can mess up a beach vacation. Check-in was smooth (always a good sign), and parking wasn’t the nightmare it can be in some parts of Budva during peak season – though I’d still recommend getting there earlier in the day if you’re visiting in July or August.

What really sold me on this place was how it connects to the real Budva experience. You’re close enough to walk to the Old Town walls and those gorgeous medieval streets without having to deal with taxi hassles, but far enough out that you can actually sleep at night without the bass from beach clubs rattling your windows until 4 AM. The beach access situation is solid too – not directly on the sand, but you’ll find yourself at Slovenska Beach or one of the smaller coves within minutes. And here’s something locals know that tourists often miss: the best time to hit those beaches is actually late afternoon when the crowds thin out and the light gets incredible for photos. The resort seems to get this rhythm – there’s this relaxed energy in the evenings that feels authentically Montenegrin rather than just generic resort-y. Food-wise, you’re not stuck eating hotel meals if you don’t want to (though what I had was perfectly decent) – some of the best seafood restaurants in Budva are actually walking distance, and the staff will point you toward places locals eat rather than just tourist traps. Honestly, for the price point and location, it delivers on what matters most: a comfortable base for exploring one of the most beautiful coastlines in the Balkans without the drama.

  The two-story apartment was very spacious. Big thanks to Stefan who took care of us all the time! The outdoor pool was a big plus of the whole resort. The apartment complex is on a hill above Pržno with a view of Sv. Stephen and the sea.
  
  What could be improved: The kitchen is smaller, but sufficient. Sometimes we missed some small equipment in the apartment, but we managed. During the stay, there was sometimes no water and no electricity, after returning from the sea, and this spoiled the overall impression of the new complex. Sorry about that.

  Highly recommended!!!! Super location uphill with a stunning view ti Sveti Stefan in the morning. Interiour is brand new and super clean. Bed is magnificent and the stuff super friendly. I’d love ti have stayed longer. The pool is fantastic, just relax there and enjoy! From there you can explore the entire coast up to albanian border. Car is recommended!!!

  Kludná časť dostatok pakovacich miest. Bazén doslova pod oknami čo je super pre deti. Stefan bol super ustretový. Stefan ďakujem. Bol tam klud a ticho. Ako som čítal v iních recenziach keď som viberal ubytovanie, musím potvrdiť naozaj tiché kludné miesto na oddych ako stvorené. Klimatizácia fungovala perfekne.
