Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “boho apartment” in the listing, I was expecting some half-hearted macramé wall hangings and maybe a few throw pillows calling it a day. But this little one-bedroom in Budva actually gets it right. The space feels genuinely lived-in and curated, not like someone just ordered a “bohemian starter pack” online. You’ve got these beautiful textured throws everywhere, plants that are clearly thriving (always a good sign about the host), and artwork that looks like it was collected over time rather than bought in a set.

The location is pretty solid too – you’re tucked away enough that you won’t hear every tourist group walking by at 2 AM, but honestly, you can still walk to the Old Town in about ten minutes. I mean, Budva’s not exactly sprawling, but it’s nice not being right in the thick of things. The building itself is one of those newer constructions, so you actually get decent water pressure and reliable WiFi, which… you know what, after some of the places I’ve stayed in Montenegro, that’s worth mentioning. There’s usually parking nearby, though in summer you might need to circle the block once or twice – just how it goes in these coastal towns.

What really surprised me was how well thought out everything is for the size. The kitchen’s small but functional (I made coffee every morning and even attempted some pasta one night), and there’s enough closet space that I wasn’t living out of my suitcase the whole time. The bed is actually comfortable too – firm enough that you’re not sinking into some ancient mattress situation. And honestly, the whole place just feels clean and fresh, like the kind of spot where the host actually cares about what they’re putting out there. That 9.4 rating makes sense once you’re there; it’s not luxury by any means, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. Plus, you’re in Budva – step outside and you’ve got that gorgeous Adriatic coastline, decent restaurants, and all the Montenegro coastal charm you came for. Sometimes the best places are the ones that just get out of your way and let you enjoy where you are.

  Super apartment with everything you need for a relaxed vacation. The kitchen is very well supplied with dishwasher, mixer, toaster and everything you could think of. The bathroom is super big and fresh with a washing mashine that we used several times. The place is also very modern and beautiful with a big balcony. The host is everything you could ask and wish for. Milena contacted me, helped us to the apartment, was very easy to communicate with and helped everytime we needed it. She also had great understanding and helped us with late check out on our departure date. All and all had an excellent stay!

  Everything was really good. Kitchen has everything you need and even more. Really comfortable bed. Big terrace with Mountain View. Parking and huge supermarket near the building.
  
  What could be improved: Internet speed was poor. Impossible to use it for work.
  But that’s a common problem for Montenegro
