Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Old Town House Lina? It’s actually tucked away on this narrow cobblestone street where you can barely hear the summer crowds from the main squares, even though you’re literally in the heart of Budva’s Old Town. I mean, Petra I Petrovica is one of those side streets that most tourists rush past on their way to the citadel, but that’s exactly what makes this place special.
The building itself has that weathered Adriatic charm – thick stone walls that keep things refreshingly cool even when it’s blazing hot outside in July. Honestly, I was skeptical when I saw it was just a 3-star place, but sometimes ratings don’t tell the whole story. The rooms are smaller than what you’d get at those big resort hotels down by Slovenska Beach, but everything feels thoughtfully done. The owner, Lina (yes, it’s actually her place), seems to know every guest by name after day one, and she’ll give you the kind of local tips you won’t find in guidebooks – like which bakery opens earliest for fresh burek, or the best time to visit the Church of Santa Maria without the tour groups.
What really won me over was the little terrace area where you can sit with morning coffee and watch the town wake up. You’re close enough to walk to Mogren Beach in about eight minutes (I timed it), but far enough from the harborfront restaurants that you won’t deal with late-night noise from people stumbling back from dinner. The Old Town can get pretty intense during peak season – all those day-trippers from cruise ships – but this spot feels like a quiet refuge. Actually, one small thing to note: if you’re arriving by car, don’t even think about driving into the Old Town itself. There’s parking outside the walls, and Lina will explain the whole system when you book. It’s not complicated, just… well, you need to know how it works. The 9.7 rating makes complete sense once you stay here – it’s not about luxury amenities, it’s about being in exactly the right spot with someone who genuinely cares that you have a good time in Montenegro.

Az elhelyezkedés tökéletes. Annak ellenére, hogy a belváros szívében van, a nyílászáróknak köszönhetően csendes a lakás. Minden szükséges felszereléssel rendelkezik.
What could be improved: Kicsit nehézkes volt a kulcsátvétel és a parkolás meglehetősen drága.
