Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first booked Old Town Skyline apartment 3 – I mean, it’s technically listed as a 3-star place, but that 9.4 rating kept nagging at me. Turns out those numbers don’t lie. The moment you step inside, you realize this isn’t your typical hotel room situation. It’s actually a proper apartment, and whoever set this up really gets what travelers want. The skyline views hit you right away – not just some tiny window peek, but real floor-to-ceiling windows that make you want to grab your coffee and just stare for a while. And you know what? The Old Town location is absolutely perfect for walking everywhere. I’m talking about being able to roll out of bed and be at the heart of everything within five minutes, but somehow you’re tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM.

The apartment itself feels lived-in in the best possible way – like someone actually designed it for comfort, not just Instagram photos. The kitchen is surprisingly well-stocked (I mean, there’s even decent coffee, which is rare), and the bed situation is solid. No creaky springs or pillows that feel like they’re stuffed with old newspapers. What really got me was the little details though – proper blackout curtains that actually block light, USB ports where you need them, and honestly, the Wi-Fi speed was better than what I have at home. The whole place stays pretty quiet too, which is impressive considering you’re right in the thick of things. I stayed during what I’d guess was a busy weekend, and while you could hear the city humming below, it never felt intrusive.

Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places that promise the world and deliver a sad continental breakfast and scratchy towels. This isn’t that. The check-in was smooth – no standing around lobbies wondering if they lost your reservation – and everything just works the way it should. Sure, it’s not some fancy resort with a spa and room service, but if you want a clean, comfortable base camp in Old Town with killer views and space to actually spread out your stuff, this hits all the marks. Plus, at this price point with those ratings, you’re basically getting boutique hotel vibes without the boutique hotel attitude. I’d definitely book it again, and I’m pretty picky about these things.

  Very good location. the host was helpful. . View of the room is nice. Close to old town. Cozy and comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: If you are older or you can not climb the stairs or you have heavy luggages, there are stairs to reach the rooms. Check the floor you get.

  Everything was very good: easy check-in, comfortable clean room, climate control system. Owner was kind and helpful. The location is the best, it’s situated in the heart of Budva.
  
  What could be improved: One day it was no water in all Old Town for several hours. But it doesn’t depend on accommodation and owner.

  Amazing location in the middle of Old Town (great wine bar about 20m from the door!). Very clean, modern apartment, exactly like the photos.
  Host Julija was very responsive with messaging and gave photos / videos of where to find the apartment (given the small laneways in Old Town), and even left a bottle of wine on our arrival.
  
  What could be improved: Parking was a little confusing (common in Old Town – 2 day pass was 24 euro), though Julija was very helpful in helping to find / navigate.
