You know what really caught me off guard about Old Town Studios? Walking in, I honestly expected your typical budget accommodation – you know, the kind where you’re just grateful the WiFi works. But this place actually has character, and I mean that in the best way possible. The lobby feels more like someone’s stylish apartment than a hotel, with these exposed brick walls and vintage furniture that doesn’t look like it came from a catalog. The whole vibe is sort of bohemian-meets-practical, if that makes sense.

The studios themselves are where this place really shines though. Mine had these huge windows that let in incredible natural light – honestly, I found myself working by the window most mornings just because the space felt so bright and airy. The kitchenette is actually functional too (I’m talking real counter space and a decent-sized fridge), which is rare at this price point. I mean, sure, the bathroom’s compact and the shower could use better water pressure, but everything’s clean and thoughtfully laid out. What really impressed me was the attention to small details – proper hangers in the closet, USB outlets by the bed, even a full-length mirror that’s not mounted behind the door where it’s useless.

The neighborhood itself is what sealed the deal for me. You’re right in the thick of things but on a quieter side street, so you get that authentic old town energy without the constant foot traffic keeping you up at night. There’s this incredible little bakery literally around the corner where locals line up every morning – I stumbled onto it by accident on day two and ended up going back every single day. The front desk staff actually knows the area too, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places just hand you a generic tourist map. When I mentioned I was looking for good coffee that wasn’t touristy, the guy immediately pointed me toward this hole-in-the-wall spot three blocks over that I never would’ve found otherwise.

Look, this isn’t luxury – the building creaks a bit at night, and don’t expect room service or a concierge in a fancy uniform. But for what it is, Old Town Studios absolutely nails it. The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there; it’s the kind of place where everything just works without any fuss. I actually extended my stay by two nights because I realized I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of moving somewhere else. Sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that just let you settle in and feel like a temporary local, and that’s exactly what this place does.

  5 minutes walk from the new town
  Beautiful place with a very nice garden

  Excellent location to the beach and so close to the bus which takes you to Sveti Stefan.
  Wonderful hosts who were so welcoming. It was a lovely stay so thank you so much.
  We were over an hour and a half late but Mira was so understanding about it!!

  What could be improved: Normally I don’t leave bad comment but this one was the worst experience I had on booking.com.
  The room was very dirty and full of flies. Also, there were spiderwebs in some spots.
  We lack of hot water all the time which they did not fix it and thought this is normal.
  They didn’t change the room, didn’t change the sheets. There was no shampoo nor showel jel in the bath.
  On the third day I asked some toilet paper, but they gave me only one roll. I asked one more but the old lady refused to give.
  The booking.com score (9.7 for today) is totally misleading.

  Tämä majoituspaikka on täysi kymppi, siisteys, sijainti ja kaikki. Omistaja oli Serbiassa vierailumme ajan, mutta Jela oli täydellinen emäntä, kiitokset hänelle. Meillä ei kylläkään ollut yhteistä kieltä, mutta se ei haitannut. Tämä paikka on tosi kiva kaikinpuolin, voin suositella täysin.
  
  What could be improved: No vähän veivausta vessapaperin kanssa, kuten kaikkialla Montenegrossa. En voi ymmärtää, miksi se on niin nihkeää. Mutta ei siis todellakaan mikään ongelma.

  Чудові господарі, дуже приємні люди, зворотній зв'язок по будь-яким питанням миттєвий.
  Розташування вище всіх похвал, все близько і жодних підйомів в гору, що для моєї мами було дуже важливим. 5 хв пішки від порта і від старого міста.

  Mira die sich um alles kümmert ist sehr bemüht und sehr freundlich.Ein schöner Platz in der sonst hektischen Stadt.Die Terrasse mit Gartenblick ist besonders angenehm.

  La calidez humana de Ivana, Mira y Nevanja no tienen precio. Estuvieron atentos a nuestras necesidades en todo momento.Para nosotros fue lo más importante. La ubicación a unos pasos del centro histórico y de la playa Mogren es fantastica. Excelente relación precio- calidad.Lo recomendamos.

  Smeštaj "OLD TOWN STUDIOS" je odličan izbor. Prijatna komunikacija, odlična lokacija. Sve je uredno i čisto. Mira se pokazala kao dobra domaćica koja preuzima inicijativu, optimizuje ponudu i trudi se da ponudi nešto više.
