You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Olive Hill Apartment when I first pulled up – honestly, the name made it sound like some generic corporate housing situation. But after spending a few days there, I get why it’s earned that solid 4-star rating and 8.0 guest score. It’s one of those places that just works, you know? The kind of spot where you actually feel settled rather than like you’re camping out in someone else’s space.

The apartment setup is honestly perfect if you’re tired of cramped hotel rooms where you’re basically living out of a suitcase on the bathroom counter. I mean, having an actual kitchen changes everything – not just for saving money on meals (though that’s nice too), but for that feeling of actually living somewhere instead of just passing through. The living areas have this comfortable, lived-in vibe without feeling worn down, if that makes sense. Everything’s clean and well-maintained, but it doesn’t have that sterile hotel smell that hits you the second you walk in. The beds are actually comfortable too, which… well, you never really know until you’re there, right? I slept better than I do at home, honestly.

What really sold me on the place was all the little thoughtful touches that you don’t notice until you need them. Like, there’s actually enough counter space in the bathroom to spread out your stuff, and the shower has decent water pressure – I know that sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places get that wrong. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the whole space (tested it extensively while working from the couch), and there’s enough outlets that you’re not playing musical chairs with your chargers. Check-in was surprisingly smooth too – none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby situation. The whole experience just felt more… I don’t know, human-scale than staying at some massive hotel chain. It’s the kind of place where you can picture actually living for a few weeks if you needed to, not just surviving a business trip. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels like a temporary home rather than just a place to crash, this is definitely worth considering.

  Really spacious clean property, with beautiful sea views. Private balcony, all mod cons including, washing machine, dishwasher and smart tv. Great friendly, and accommodating hosts.
  
  What could be improved: I would give this property overall 4⭐️, it would’ve been 5. But:
  It’s important to be aware. The property sits at the very top of a very steep hill, and all though there is a lovely winding path down to the sea front (1000yards) , it is indeed of repair in places .If you are not completely able bodied, it’s not for you.
  Also be aware that the pool is communal and only accessible from July 1st.
  All that said, it is a great little flat, and allows for privacy and very comfortable, and as I said before, great hosts. Enjoy x

  Piękny widok zarówno z tarasu jak i z sypialni ! Fajne knajpki nad morzem i promenada aż do samego starego miasta w Budvie. Polecam ten apartament.
