Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Orange Apartment 4,” I wasn’t expecting much. The name sounds pretty basic, right? But man, was I wrong about this place. It’s actually one of those hidden gems that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something special that most tourists never find.

The moment you walk in, you get why this place has a 9.7 rating. I mean, that’s not easy to achieve – people are picky these days. The space has this really warm, lived-in feel that’s somehow both cozy and sophisticated. You know what I’m talking about? It’s like staying at a friend’s place, if your friend happened to have incredible taste and actually knew how to decorate. The orange accents (obviously) are done in this subtle way that adds character without being overwhelming – sort of like burnt orange touches here and there rather than some garish citrus explosion you might fear from the name.

What really got me was the attention to detail. The kitchen actually has everything you need (and I mean everything – good knives, proper cookware, not those flimsy tourist rental basics), and the bathroom has those little touches that show someone really thought about what guests would want. Honestly, the shower pressure alone is worth mentioning – you know how hit-or-miss that can be in apartment rentals. The beds are seriously comfortable too, which is huge because nothing ruins a trip faster than tossing and turning all night. I slept better there than I do at home, which is saying something.

The four-star rating feels right – it’s not trying to be some over-the-top luxury experience, but everything works perfectly and feels thoughtfully put together. The neighborhood vibe is great during the day (I loved walking around in the mornings with coffee), and it gets pretty quiet at night, which is honestly rare to find. Check-in was smooth – none of that awkward waiting around or confusing key situation you sometimes get with apartment stays. The host clearly knows what they’re doing and has this whole thing down to a science, but in a good way, not a cold corporate way.
